Back in 2009 I was told by a "friend" who worked for a major military contractor that provides weapons and mercs:
"ha ha! You and your stupid Ron Paul are not going to stop us. We have plans for Africa, that's why we moved our office to UAE. You watch. Everything you see happen in the next few years, it's already in the plans. You think voting or that **** will work? You are a retart."

"That's not sustainable", I said. "Eventually the USA goes broke from all of these wars".

"Ha!", was the reply. "When that happens and the dollar collapses, who do you think will have bought up the gold by then? You lose."

(this was the same person who was upset when he didn't get to go be a merc in New Orleans after Katrina because he missed the change to - and I quote - "shoot blacks". Yes, these are the guys who will take a paycheck to kill you and they will enjoy it).

Now there are various "generations" of warfare. 1st gen warfare is the "storming the castle" kind. Second gen is "line warfare" the standing in the field shooting arrows and musket balls at each other. Third gen is maneuver warfare perfected by the Germans when they invaded Poland. And 4th Gen is "stateless" warfare, where the sides are not really armies, using mostly covert ops and political battles incorporated in an overall strategy.

What we are seeing now is 5th gen warfare: incorporation of media elements and propaganda as a military tool. Have enough people in a tizzy about something and you have weaponized democracy at that point.

All you need is a nicely done, touching video.

Kind of like a video game trailer. Anybody remember the video of the fat chick getting all teared up over that Skyrim trailer? There are people who notice that and their 40 hour a week job is all about how to manipulate you. Weaponized Marketing we could call it, perhaps?

This is all about beating the drums for war in Africa. When the "republicans" are in charge, the excuse to go to war is "there's brown people there out to kill you! Send troops!!!!" and when "democrats" are in charge, it's "they are hurting the cheeeeeeldren!!!!!1!! Send Troops!!!!" Meanwhile, the people who own both parties and the media make a killing, and not just money.

All they need are you sheeple falling for it.

Are you going to fall for it this time or is it going to take your assess getting drafted?

*munches popcorn while watching the statist left jump on the war bandwagon*

Returning to their roots I see, now that Bush is gone, the left can once again make the world safe for democracy. The NeoCon gambit has run out of steam, but should still be good for a few more years of weapon sales and petrodollar rescues.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.  - William Pitt

The person who started the "make the world safe for democracy " thing was Woodrow Wilson, a Republican who was also a "progressive".

Go figure.

And we try to bring truly conservative ideals back to the republican party that claims to be conservative and we get all kinds of harassment from voter fraud to threats.

as I am sick and tired of saying: WW3 is just a matter of "when" atm. Remember the first quarter of the 20th century? it'll happen again.

Isn't this a semi official Not Scam but scammy enough Non profit whose ledgers are public and show they only devote 30% of their income to actual charity and rest vanishes around

I mean, if you ARE WILLING TO believe a Viral net campaign, I am willing to believe the smear campaign that in this day and age resonates with more "truth"

So anyone that tries to come at me with X, better base yourself off something else than anything easily found in google

Sorry, I live in Scam Land, Latinamerica (not so diff from Africa in that department) pardon me my sardonic retorts if you may, but I refuse to understand the "success" of this "campaign" .

As much as we appreciate the efforts of Invisible Children to bring the attention of the internet to the actions of LRA, this hardly belongs here:
