Hi all, I was wondering if I am Amarr, and I fly Amarrian vessels, then does it behoove me to work for a corp like Theology Council, or would it matter if I were to go to work say for Gallentean Federation Navy?

It matters in that if you work for Amarr in Amarr space you'll get missions against enemies that are naturally weak to EM/Therm damage, which is what you'll be dealing with lasers.

Fringe benefits include lower taxes, lower refine costs, and eventually COSMOS ship offers but you'll get all that from working with any faction for long enough.

Thank you Zhilia Mann, that makes sense. I will take my Omen Navy and go talk to my agent next time I hop in the pilot seat. Cheers!

+1 for Nomen (for being a very cool ship) and yeah, beside the obvious enemy resist benefits, every 17'th mission will be a "storyline" mission which will be the way you get yout faction rep up. Once your faction rep is high enough, it will give access to all agents of that "level" in all(!) corps belonging to that faction.

Another benefit is that Amarrian corporations will have faction ammo for your lasers in their LP stores. Extra dps is always nice.
