Tbh I couldn't care less about you guys' political views, and I also don't see the point of such polemics in a video game forum of all places.

The video was good and that's that

I was waiting for the post that describes well my state of mind, and eventually Miriam Sasko wrote it.

About Eve videos, this was an very enjoyable watch, in the category of 'enormous amounts of isk thrown at the screen', but with the 'unusual setups' factor and the special 'huge coj.ones' mention. Music choice did not do much good to the video though - in terms of musical quality and fitting.

Hey, I'm offended! I spent quite some time at making the music match the video in terms of pace and mood overall Sad

The editing was good and quite polished, one can feel there was some time invested in it, do not get me wrong, though i think the raw material used was not that good. Think about a clothes designer who need to make a cocktail dress with hags and mops Blink

Well, i dont see the point of such "polemic" in a video related to said video game forum or video game and in fact i couldn´t care less about the authors political standpoint in real life, regardless of how strange it might be, but i do care if this crap is used for whatever reason in an admitettly good selection of PvP clips, which are used to entertain the community or whatever the reason for releasing this is.

ITT: People getting butthurt on the internet.

Seriously get over it dudes, watch the video, which is bloody amazing, enjoy the music, which fits well and isn't even in 90% of your guys' language so who cares what it says, and then get back on with your life.

You guys act like this is the start of WW3 or something.

Alright, some stuff which I feel like posting, despite some might hate me even more after reading it.

"Dude, how did you dare express your views in a PvP video???" This question is so stupid that I'm not even sure what to start with. As an author I may express whatever I want as long as it's not prohibited. As a work of art, the movie may or I'd even say should contain an idea behind it. Those bothering to spill **** over me for bringing something unusual might be treating the entire world's art as a mere entertainment (like a lousy circus show), but this is surely not always the case. I'm absolutely sure the very same people thought it was OK for, say, James Cameron to propagate racial treachery in his Avatar film. Or did they even notice what the film was all about?

As for music, speaking namely of rock, this genre has always been extremely politically loaded. Proper rock is not an insipid metal to tell you about some unrelated crap or fantasies. Rock has always been topical, it has always addressed things people are unhappy with. Right-rock is no exception, the only difference is that it's spreading the ideas in a pretty straight-forward way instead of hiding them deep within fancy lyrics and allegories (something Queen was famous for), so that more people can get them. Rock by its definition is a protest against corrupted and rotten society. The moment rock stops addressing pressing issues of the day, it becomes just pop performed live with guitars and drums.

I've always expressed my views freely just as I was taught. That had been long before I ever thought of running for CSM. It was not me who brought up totally unrelated stuff into my CSM campaign. One current CSM member was filthy enough to start these talks about me, a mere candidate, over Skype with other CSMs and CCP members - can you imagine how wrong is that, when CSM starts acting as a scandalmonger's hive instead of staying focused at EVE?! What I did here is a mere response. I responded the way a creative man can - that is with his work.

I've seen a dude writing a post in which he regrets for voting for me. He's exactly the man I don't want to see as my supporter. I would hate the idea of getting elected by damned pharisees! Also, as I said in my campaign message long before the movie was released, "I'm pretty confident that my pathological aspiration for truth may cost me some votes." That was to point exactly on my RL views. And then I see someone saying "one candidate less to vote for". For God's sake, does he really believe I'm running for CSM for my own entertainment or e-fame or to protect my assets or to propagate my RL views? That's the final stage of retardation to think that way.

My movie is a perfect proof that I've already achieved pretty much everything a player of my interests can ever achieve. Ok, Garmon is still unbeatable in terms of sheer movies and he's won AT on top of that, but I've never really considered myself as #1 PvP pilot, so I'm fine with someone achieving more. Still, I'm quite good at what I'm doing and I surely can have my chunk of fun even in fubar and stagnant EVE, so it would be just plain stupid to think that by voting for me you're somehow making the things easier for me alone. As for my RL views, I'm happy with them, but I - unlike the CSM member mentioned above - can set them aside if not prompted. Those few quotations they use as an 'evidence' of my 'utter intolerance' and 'willingness to talk about RL things right and left' are just non-significant among those hundreds of posts I've made on EVE itself. As for the quotations themselves, I was always a firm believer that one has to spread his knowledge (or even mere views if you so please), especially when most are bashfully silent. Yet again, I committed no crime and broke no rules.

Also, at the end of the day, there's no such thing as collective responsibility, everyone will be judged by his own deeds - and it's quite wise to assume that those knowing something or just capable to act and still remaining silent or passive will be responsible for that in more strict manner than the rest of the rabble.

So when asked "what have you done in your life to fight the **** you lived in?" I can safely say that I released "Motorization of Disciples" precisely the way it was actually released.

Hope that helps. Still, I wish the best of luck for all of you. I'll even reserve right to hand you out another gift of mine at some point in the future, even though some people are making it extremely thankless...

Can't wait for the next one.

On a related video standpoint, always remember even leni Riefenstahl, one of the best film makers of all time, was barred and her works ignored based entirely upon her political beliefs and friendships.

The hypocrisies of the willfully ignorant and voluntarily blind will never cease to amaze me.

Hopefully I'll get to cross your path some day, definitely a fight to remember if I get the chance.

I'm glad to hear that. Just don't be shy at letting me know what you think of this particular work Cool

By the way. a question to all the viewers: is showing the cursor worth it? Y/N?

Shield tanking a Bhaal and armour tanking a Mach Cool

Great way to think outside the box, its always refreshing to see someone try different fits and tactics and still achieve a favorable outcome. As expected the vid was awesome and really highlights your skills of staying alive and making the most out of a seemingly impossible situation. I too favor going against the odds and testing ones nerve in a highly critical enviroment so I can relate to your playstyle. Keep up the good work Fon and maybe one day we can meet on the field Pirate

Great piloting and props to you for using creative fits Fon. Good to see an armour mach used instead of boring shield machs. Dont mind the haters and their whining about using link alts - its how eve is meant to be played especially since you are flying solo with relatively expensive ships. The music wasn't to my taste...preferred the ones in your first vid, but as for the political aspect I didn't really mind...a bit distastful but certainly nothing to get worked up over. Enjoyed it man and keep fighting the good fight. Looking forward to your next release Pirate

If that is something to distinguish videos by, I guess I'm doing all right.

Also, yes, especially in kiting fights, I find the cursor extremely interesting and always missed them in your rocket magic videos.

Personally, I always recorded my clips with the cursor, then switched that off for some graphics/athmospheric stuff and forgot to switch it back on, resulting in some cursor-less recordings. Two of those made it into my latest video, and I find that it makes me look more focused and on top of things but also less honest.
