We will watch what you do, not what you say.

Tread carefully, mates, and most of all, tread openly, because you are being very closely watched indeed.

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

They're promising to promise changes that they promise to follow through with in a devblog that says nothing.

btw can you guys PLEASE go back to the "all at once" expansion releases? The chunked up ones are horrible for player reception cause 70% of the player base doesn't understand that the tiny first piece that comes out isnt the whole expansion.

That and chopping them up doesn't really any longer justify them as expansions any more, just big patches.

While the basic message of this dev blog is a good thing, I am extremely worried by the lack of details that have been communicated to the CSM previously. It would seem to me that the only reason to leave them out is to change direction. We all want more time and energy on spaceships, but we *need* the critical game breaking issues resolved, not just a pile of new things.

This may well be the least informative most useless devblog ever posted. And given your history of atrocious devblogs that's a bold statement.

Does no one read this stuff for you who dares to tell you when you are saying nothing?

The problem is that CCP took the idea of staged releases too far. What players wanted was small fixes and balance changes to come out when they were ready instead of waiting for the next full expansion.

Instead, CCP took the opportunity to release an expansion that wasn't finished and use the small updates to keep trying to complete it.

A worthless devblog that says "we promise that we'll implement the minor and cosmetic changes we have already blogged about". And this was hyped on twitter for several days. I'm actually offended that CCP think we'd fall for this.

CCP's normal mistake is to tell us some things then not follow through on them. Somehow you have compounded this with a bigger mistake of not even telling us anything. A blank page has more information than that blog.

same ****, different dev blog.

seriously, after all the BS CCP fed us over the last 2-3 YEARS do you really expect them to follow through on any of this? we will get what we always get, a lot of "were gonna do a,b,c,d,e,f,g...,x,y,z" and we will get "a" then some more beta test crap for other games.

GUYS! GUYS! A WOLF! A WOLF!

Jesus ****, guys, can't you guys get it through your head that we don't want hints, hints and more hints. That devblog is more or less the same as the previous devblog, where it's all "GUYS WE HAVE THE BESTEST NEWS EVAR!!!!!!!11111" ... and it's a font. And shipspinning. And the cyno effect.

GIVE US MEAT FOR THE MEAT THRONE!

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

Er, did you guys link to the wrong blog? That... says nothing at all?

No, I mean, literally, if you remove the platitudes, you get:

"Hi, reminder, there was a blog about CQ (cause you all love CQ, right???) and ship spinning, which will still require you load CQ (cause we get a bigger Christmas bonus every time we say CQ. CQ CQ CQ). We have decided to focus our efforts, but can't say where.

We'll reveal more over the coming weeks. Maybe.

You’ve often told us that we promise too much and deliver too little, and this time we want to be certain that doesn’t happen. We are listening to you, we have heard you, and plans are already in motion.

I was promised a "heads up on some exciting things coming to EVE Online" and I got something that could be created by a bot program that doesn't pass the Turing test. What the heck?

Everyone check your wallets, I think we just got rolled.
