Character Portrait not loading

Hello guys,

I've started playing again since yesterday. Since this char had no new portrait yet, I had to go ahead and create one. All seemed to work fine.

Now today however, the portrait is not loading in-game, instead showing the generic empty portrait in chat channels and on my UI. Is there any way to solve this?

The portraits look fine directly on the Image Server https://image.eveonline.com/Character/502799941_512.jpg and on the CDN http://images.cdn1.eveonline.com/Character/502799941_512.jpg

The portrait was rendered yesterday at 16:38 GMT. Make sure that your computer can access these images; also clear the client's cache.

Thanks for your quick response. I've tried clearing the cache of the client, which seems to solve the problem somewhat in most of the UI elements, although the chat portrait still refuses to load. You mentioned making sure that my computer can access those images... is there a page that explains how to do that?

If the client has loaded it in a few places then it can access it. Try opening and closing the chat channels, also scrolling the list, and allowing your computer some time to load the image. Does that fix it? Also try searching the cache folder for anything with your character ID in the name and delete it.

I've started playing again about an hour ago and that seemed to have fixed it, strangely enough. No idea what went wrong.
