Are you talking about additional chemicals (drugs) or chemicals produced in the brain (emotions)?

Emotions get in the way of logic/reasoning so do drugs. Also diseases and tiredness can effect logic/reasoning.

All of the above change the chemical balance in your brain. Drugs are just the easy way to prove it.

Ok we've established we both agree on the fact that chemicals do effect logic/reasoning.

Your views are still based on the data available to you, although some are based on lack of data (faith) or the fact the data does not exist to disprove it.

I don't think your views actually alter under a state that is not the norm as they're prominent memories but more your ability to communicate them.

Not a bad idea as we've deviated somewhat. Plus most people reading this probably won't be interested in it anyway.

I have done enough drugs, and known enough people who did ALOT of drugs, to know that your actual views do change based on chemical influences, simply because your base drives get modified.

This is my last comment on this subject as it needs to get back to the title of the thread.

I also experimented with some drugs when I was in my late teens, although I was a bit of a natural analysist at the time, pretty much analysis everything.

Those drugs don't effect your memories or your ideas they just effect your perception whilst you're under their effect.

Edit: Drug abuse (if done excessively) can alter the brain chemisty, i.e. a person becoming paranoid. But that's not a brain under normal conditions which is what we were talking about.

Rather than making a whiny post about this in the forums, it would probably be more effective to contact Darius's alliance leadership who I am sure (if they are rational, mature and well adjusted people) will take a dim view of these antics and kick him from the alliance.

D3 is our alliance.... derp... So uninformed.

Heh, I'm better at this trolling thing than I thought. Who knew?

Depends, i went through more then dozen depersonalizations and several de-realizations, and through many association based methods.

And it can screw the reality pretty hard. Al-beit there is no reality. Well there is but we are unable to comprehend it.

So logging me out.

@OP: Welcome to Eve. Should've got the plex before you voted. Shame the lesson wasn't harsher.

In later news, the nefarious Darius III is at it again! This time pandering to the local RVB Crowd. Can he sink any lower? /fake reporter voice off

Shocking!

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

You have a VERY low opinion of eve players if you think he can scam up more than 100 or so votes this way, and even that number is pretty much saying I have no faith in humanity.

SIr, I would like to point out that you underestimate me if you think I can not scam up 100 votes. 10 Hours/Day scamming, 2-4 assistants for part of that time....

Sasha Azala wrote:

Except it does not work that way, because he'll earn the votes from scammers (as you put it) but also he'll get the votes he says he does not want (in effect) the scammed.

No where did I ever say outright or even imply that I dont want those votes. Every vote will count this cycle. I CHERISH the votes I have scammed, almost as much as the 'real' ones. Many people who didn't 'fall for it' asked questions and I answered, and I went on to get their personal votes as well as their corp/alliance mates. A vote is a vote!

Scamming is used ingame and accepted ingame by most people.

Someone please point out to this guy that I scammed people IN THE GAME. Also The Game

Tallian Saotome wrote:

Even 100 votes might not seem a lot but if it was a close race for the last CSM position it could make all the difference.

Last year, I beat a better candidate with the votes I scammed. Ripard Teg is a great guy and by rights should have probably won a seat. But the early bird gets the wormBear

The quote is from local, and I said just what he quoted me as saying. And yet still more people in that same system got scammed out of their vote AFTER I HAD ADMITTED IT WAS A SCAM.

As for targeting the RvB guys, thats simply not true, my scam targets everyone dumb enough to fall for it. I have tremendous respect for RvB and they do something wonderful-they provide instant action (pretty much) and if Eve had an arena combat system, subscriber numbers would double. at least.

Not everyone has three hours to go roaming, looking for a fight, only to get blobbed/hotdropped. World of tanks now has OVER 18 Million (18 MILLION!!!!) players because people want to fight. Combat in Eve offers 3874.82% more options and variables than in WoT, yet is so hard to come by. If the blockheads would work that out-we could get arenas, and CCP could make real money. But they think that combat is not 'fun enough' or 'interesting enough' to support arenas with combat ladders. Not that if they offered it they would lose anything by trying.....

Now, if you Gentlemen and Ladies would excuse me, I need to get back to getting people to vote who otherwise would not be a part of the electoral process. Thank you-and good day. D3
