Who cashed in on the free 2000 aurum?

Today after downtime, ccp added 1000 aurum to your account. So in total CCP has given out 2k aurum at the moment.

What I saw with the 1k free aurum was that alot of people bought stuff in the NEX store and dumped it off at the market. Where 1k aurum items now sell for +/- 10 million isk.

So following that 2k aurum equals +/- 20 million isk. Now all those items, untill now, used to sell at 150-200 million isk (with low number of buys). So what I did was convert my aurum to men's sterlings dress and dump them on the buy orders making a quick isk.

Hey its not alot with 2 accounts, but all the buy orders are depleted after 2 hours, so there are a few other smarties out there Blink that have made a quick buck.



PS. At fanfest i got a redeem code for quafe t-shirts. man/woman version. Sold 800 mill and bought 2x plex with that (thank you ccp)

I'm probly not going to BUY any aurum, but as long as they keep handing it out for free... I think I'll save up for a nice skirt. Big smile

Still saving up my 2000 aur here.. I want a pair of new boots, and a nice skirt would be nice.
Though I might also just save it for when they bring out more stuff.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

I splashed out, and picked up the goggles I'd been eyeing since I got the first thousand. Then I checked the market, and nearly sold them for 80mil ISK. I mean, I recently blew a hundred mil on a cloaky hauler I'll probably hardly ever use, so I figured it might make up or it.
Then I remembered how stupid my portrait looked, and the stupid dreads and the fact that I went ******* PINK AND PURPLE whenever I docked. So I put the goggles on and had a play with the shaver and some needles. So, now I have a haircut and a tattoo and some piercings.
The stupid duck-pout remains, though. I'm terrible at facial editors, and this was the best I could manage.

They are giving the Aur away because there is no activity worth mentioning. Prices were way too high (and still are) for items you can only show to yourself by walking back and forth in you cabin. Pointless.

Anybody that says they were selling at the higher price...Wrong. They were put on the market for the higher prices, but nobody was buying.

Now, that said. It will pick up once they get a better selection othr than a simply different print on the same old items. After all, I can very well go running around the station when I might bump into another girl wearing the same thing can I?
