She has quite enough of both
It is a specific feature of those who crave wealth and fame that they never have "enough" of either.

The drawback of the latter peculiarity is probably the most painful lesson to be learned on IGS.

I'd think someone who spends all of their time in the 'salvage' profession of collecting the scraps and leftovers from other Capsuleers would be the better example of a 'parasite,' yes?

It's been said before, also always quite illuminating just how often people take the time to comment on threads to let everyone know how much they don't care about said thread or person.

Katrina I'll speak to your points later.

She has quite enough of both, unless I'm very much mistaken. Or, I should say, she had.

No, she's just another has-been capsuleer parasite who thinks it's relevant.

You, mate, are the biggest gimp on the IGS. All you do is chime in on threads with commentary on the rough level of a three year old, and embarass yourself.

That's far from the only thing I do, love.

I'm sorry, but who are you, again?

(This is fun! Childish pleasures, I guess...)

Oooooh, did I prick your finely-honed sense of self-importance?

(Tarryn giggles) This is even more fun!

Could everyone refrain from crapping up the thread with trolling and childish insults? There are those of us who have actually asked legitimate questions and would like to see them answered.

"Refrain from crapping up the thread with trolling and childish insults"? Do you even realize where you're posting?

This isn't a corporate boardroom, or your internal forums. This is the IGS. Trolling and childish insults are, unfortunately, the norm here. Even more to the point, this thread was posted by someone who adheres to a faith whose reputation is heavily tainted by one of its more visible sects, the Blood Raider Covenant. Her faith in and of itself attracts sniping and asshattery from all corners.

I get the sentiment that asking nicely might get something done, but knowing your audience helps. The IGS does not typically host that kind of audience on even the best of days.

If you don't like it, tough - deal with it. Block posters, don't read threads, or don't even bother with the IGS. Just don't complain about it here, because it serves little purpose other than to be flamebait.

I am well aware of what the Intergalactic Summit is and what the 'norms' are. I suppose it was foolish for me to expect and request better from the rest of the Capsuleer community.

However, you're right. I'll continue my discussion elsewhere with Silas Vitalia. Those of you whom my original request applied to are welcome to continue your generous mockery of what this forum was created for.

Rikaato ti Uaaka.

EDIT: Edited to avoid a flamewar with you.

Katrina, a simple perusal of Silas' personal history may shed light on a possible reason why she has the desire, and in my opinion valid right to lay claim to a small amount of khanid space for herself.

while i cannot speak for her reasons or intentions, having protected that area for so long gives her a certain degree of rightful claim.

it just happens to be delightful that she intends to burn those who stand in her way to ashes.

Hmm. Yes, I don't know much about Silas Vitalia's history. At this point I can only speculate as to her intentions, at least until she answers my mail. It would be quite fascinating to learn that she intends to carve out her own territory within the boundaries of the Khanid Kingdom.

I find it quite useful to make a statement of future intentions as it is useful to sow fear in your enemies before you face them in open space, be they capsuleer or not word will spread within Khanid space and perhaps further afield, forcing heightened security in certain locations and leaving others open for quick Hunt-and-Grab raids.

...interesting. While my own forays into low-security space are usually in Gallente claimed territory or in Genesis, I may be...inclined to visit the Kingdom from time to time. Tell me, Pilot Vitalia, what is your official stance regarding noted Sani Sabik leader Omir Sarikusa and his teachings?

You mean - Blood Raider Covenant - leader Omir Sarikusa. The man certainly has a vision, that's for sure.

But no I've not declared any loyalty to him or his sect.

I guess my real confusion is more that you don't seem the type for random piracy. Piracy, yes.... random, no. To me, you seem the type to have a plan, a goal, and plans after that goal is achieved.

You are correct of course.

However, here is a delicate line between making a statement of intent and then crossing over into pages of idiotic preaching....Something that happens far too often here on the Summit (partifularly from my former brethren), and something I have in general avoided over the years. There's ever so little sense of anticipation left in our lives.

So you'll understand if I keep things to a tactful statement of intent and if I leave the public ideology behind my actions for a later time.
