This place is a very special and important place. We few stand here able to converse freely amoung ourselves with absolutly no restraints on us but our own. Some squander this to press on their malice and hate. Others treasure it and express their ideas and goals to eachother. Stop and consider that we are a small minority of an even smaller minority whom have the ability to meet here regularly and share ideas.

This is how God's light shines.

We can grow to understand eachother and grow respect. You don't need to agree with anyone, but understanding is critical. Not the phony understanding which is cheap and shallow, but true understanding of what it is to be that person and why they feel as they do.

As such I would like to invite every regular member of the IGS to introduce themselves on a personal level so we can better come to understand. You never have to agree with anyone, and can hold your own convictions tightly... but to do so without the proper knowledge leads to a kind of hate which damns the soul.

We are neigh immortal, if we oppose each-other we will be fighting for a very long time... best to get to know each-other a little so we can do so with civility.

so, here is my brief history in a nutshell.

I am Thgil Goldcore
pronounced with a hard TH sound followed by Gil (like a fish gil) all in one syllable.

My last name comes from the time in which the Khanid split from the Amarr. My family was loyal to the Empire to the end and decided to change our last name to separate ourselves proper. As such the Goldcore name was born.

I grew up on my family's plantation on Hayumtom VI. As anyone who has ever been in a tavern in the Empire would guess, it was where we grew plants for my family's famous Gold Ribbon Spiced wine. My family was fantastically wealthy and thus all my needs where taken care of. I had my first slave given to me as a 4th birthday gift, the boy was 14 at the time.

As most of you have likely experienced, being genetically and mentally capable to be a capsuleer, my abilities where far above anyone else (including my parents). Being a young, rich, and empowered individual I did what most would... Get into lots of trouble. To keep me busy my parents constantly thew task after task at me to make me less trouble, leading to my eventual takeover of the entire planetary operation by my 16th birthday.

When I turned 18 I got scanned for capsuleer compatability. Mentally I was more than able, although I lacked a few genetic markers for a perfect match. I must admit that I did hack into their facility and changed the results of the genetics test, which allowed me admittance into the capsuleer program. Because of two key genetic markers my implants burn out much faster than they should, particularly my social implant (which leads to my sometimes erratic behavior).

Tomorrow I turn 22 and have just celebrated my 2nd year as a capsuleer. I appreciate your time in reading my story and hope you will share yours.

My name is Katrina Oniseki.

I was conceived as a Tube Child twenty five years ago under the sponsorship of Hyasyoda Corporation. While the Tube Child program was ended as a State funded organization, many corporations have continued to utilize the concept and technology for various reasons. For my own part, I was part of a program to breed stronger and more capable children who could begin education and employment at an early age, and who had no ties outside the corporation that could create a conflict of interests.

I was raised with very traditional values for the Caldari way of life, very much in the ideals Hyasyoda holds dear. Originally, I was already well on my way to becoming a high level program administrator for hydroponic station farms. My scores and exams were excellent, and my physical fitness was the lesser of very few others. As soon as I was old enough to be reliably tested for it, I was told I had a positive compatibility for the Capsuleer programs. My life changed forever.

What started as a fairly simple and traditional way of life turned into a whirlwind of new concepts and ideas. Within the space of a few short minutes of conversation, my future went from directing massive agri-farms and biodomes to being part of society's unbound elite. It didn't take long for my own personality to become far more... open.

Upon graduation, I took what I had learned and set out with a goal: To promote tolerance and understanding wherever I go.

From the Sansha sympathizers and Blooder evangelists, to the Matari freedom fighters and Federation activists, to the ancient Holder generations of Amarr itself... I have done my best to treat everyone with the same respect and dignity that I would any citizen of my beloved homeland.

For the purpose of avoiding any political discussion in response to this, I will refrain from referencing my current activities. I invite anyone who would like to speak with me about them to do so in a private venue, instead of in this thread. I will not reply to any responses to this post.

I am Markius TheShed of the Sebiestor tribe

I was born on the Sebiestor tribe Bureau station orbiting Eram IX Moon 4, My parents are both engineers and I inherited their skills and inquisitive nature with all things electrical and mechanical.

This natural ability was noticed and lead to my tribal sponsored enrolment in the Pator tech school capsuleer program, After I graduated the adrenaline rush of combat lead me to undertake missions for the Republic and this is where I encountered my first taste of the Amarrian Reclamation.

But the destruction of Amarrian Navy ships which had invaded our space did not sate my desire for revenge on our oppressors so I sought out fellow capsuleers and found the Murientor Tribe.

This is where my REAL training started and under the guidance and support of the Tribe I have become a skilled and competent killer, My spare time is spent training more skills to improve my ability to strike back at the Amarrians and free as many of my people as I can.

I have over the past year moved through the Tribe ranks from Midshipman to Captain and I am now part of the Tribe council responsible for finding and training other capsuleers who wish to take their vengeance on the Amarr.

**Murientor Tribe** a capsuleer organization composed of radical Minmatar. Since YC107

I am actually unaccustomed with speaking about myself, so here's hoping it's reasonable.

I was born in space aboard an Osprey-class cruiser named the Corsair to a Gallentean woman (by blood and raising) and a Civire man (likewise). They were part of a nomadic group of traders and anti-governmentalists known as the Intrepii. While the Intrepii were not intended to be such, they became pirates along the State and Federation borders and were eventually forcefully disbanded by Federation engagement forces, which were subsequently intercepted by State forces.

I was thirteen at the time of this occurrence. My parents both went into service for the State, their reasons for doing so are somewhat lengthy to explain so I will avoid doing so here, suffice it to say they both did so willingly. I was placed into the educational system and my contact with my parents ceased with the exception of a few letters occasionally. Upon my graduation from the five-year reeducation program, I became a mercenary working within the State's borders to contribute my combat skills learned from my youth.

Due to some chance meetings, I was encouraged to be tested for capsuleer compatibility and was found positive. Six years in further education and training to become a capsuleer and I graduated and joined the stars as one of the "elite." My initial desire was to rebel and walk the same path my parents had walked, knowing that I now possessed the wealth and power to do so freely. Yet as I took the time to sit and learn, to truly study and immerse myself in the culture of the Caldari, I became more and more drawn to defending it and dedicated myself to being as true to the founding ideals of the Caldari as I could.

Today, I strive to be an example of honor, integrity and trustworthiness. I struggle often with my temper, but I have chosen the path I am on willingly and knowingly and will vehemently defend the Caldari people, our culture and those I call friend and family.

I am Conventia Underking.

My family worked for the Sarum Family on Sarum Prime. During that time, our family was responsible for teaching those training to be Kameiras to be good spiritual and social followers of the Faith. While everyone helped in this, it was primarily my mother's responsibility and passion. My father worked as a scientist and researcher for the Sarum Family.

I have a twin, Catlin, who is entirely unlike me. At an early age, I was found to have a propensity for hand-to-hand combat and weapons training and therefore, trained as a Cyber Knight. The details of my enhancements are classified. Though I have outgrown it somewhat, I had a violent temper as a child. I suppose you could say that I still do, I just channel it better.

That ended when she was murdered by a Kameira during their graduation ceremony and it almost ended the life of my father, but he was saved. That Kameira program was scrapped and the entire family underwent capsuleer training, each taking a differing amount of time.

I eventually joined PIE Inc. due to my religious upbringing and training in combat operations and now hold the rank of Guardian. That was almost three years ago... my, how time passes so quickly. During that time, I have achieved the rank of Imperial Major within the Amarr Militia. The Empire is not safe and I will not rest until it is.

I have acquired a taste for jasmine tea spiked with Mishan vodka, though, I honestly do not indulge in drinking very often or heavily, when I do.

I was born in Sazre, to Khanid parents who vehemently opposed slavery. I was raised in a military family and grew to be a member of the Royal Khanid Navy. I rose to the rank of Commodore, and was a command group officer of the 5th Expeditionary Fleet. I have been a part of the officer exchange program of the Khanid Kingdom, and have served with the navies of the Caldari State, Gallente Federation, and Amarr Empire.

I was one of the first officers of the RKN who tested positive to be a capsuleer, and was immediately sent to the Amarr Empire to train. After several years I passed all of the required courses, and graduated.

I now work toward ending slavery within the Amarr Empire, as well as helping to further unite the Khanid Kingdom and Caldari State.

Okay, I'll bite.

I'm Ryven Krennel. I was born Ryven Haijikioten, and was orphaned soon after. My parents were piratical mercenaries and war criminals who died during commission of one of said war crimes. I was raised in a Sisters of Eve orphanage. I was not a good child, and I routinely got into fights for the hell of it. This nearly landed me on my ass, but, a nice Gallente named Baillieu Crenelle sponsored my stay there, and so I remained until his untimely demise from an aneurysm (most likely due to stargate travel). Shortly after, my uncle, Titus Haijikioten, took me in as part of his mercenary crew. Titus was a more legitimate merc than my father, Kalus. I worked for him for most of my life and when he died under tragic circumstances, I inherited the business, liquidated all the assets, and true to his wishes, became a capsuleer.

Since capsuleerdom, I have flitted about from Liberty to Morsus, to Night's Dawn and New Eden Commonwealth, to TNT, finally. I had an epiphany in null-sec, and came to KOTMC seeking absolution and a new life apart from the senseless hegemony of null-sec warfare, where I had fought constantly just to make a few people richer, whilst footing my own bills myself.

So, now I am a believer in the Amarrian faith, a knight in the Knighthood of the Merciful Crown, and a fairly common sight on the Amarr/Minmatar front.

I suppose I should also admit to having been a bit of a pirate for a while there, but, hey, we all have our dark periods.

"Oh, good, we're surrounded.  That makes this easy."

My name is Tiberious Thessalonia.

My family are merchants of some Renown on the homeworld, and that was going to be my fate as well until I tested positive for the necessary genetic mutations or whatever to be a capsuleer. Seeing a new avenue, I was enrolled.

Since coming into space, I have spent my time becoming a jack-of-all-trades, starting as a miner, working into industry, moving into combat and a brief stint in nullsec space, before returning to Hi-sec.

I am generally what would be considered a Liberal or an Amarrian, though I do not believe I am so far away from my more conservative brothers and sisters that I cannot at least understand why they support the things they do, even if I do not agree with them.

Most of my time is spent engaging in philosophical debate, and I also consider myself a logician, and ethicist, and a theologian as well.

I am one of the moderators of the Neocomm channel counterpart to this Summit.

I currently work for LDIS as an Amarrian ambassador, and generalized industrial worker.

I welcome any attempts to contact me for reasoned, intelligent debate on almost any subject.

My name is Ilsenae /il-sen-ā/ Alexandros

I am the third of six total children of Motoko Alexandros (née Sakuma) and Takahashi Alexandros. My siblings, immediate family, and much of my extended family all work and operate an agri-farm complex on Saisio III, owned by the Sukuuvestaa Corporation. My surname's conspicuous Gallentean origin is a result of intermarriage several generations back on my father's side. I end up being something like one-sixteenth ethnic Gallente.

My youngest sister died at seven years old due to a machine accident, and this tragic event has left a lasting impression on both myself and my family. For myself, it has led me to be more curious and willing to experience new things, as well as learning more about the people I meet.

It has also made me less willing to cause physical harm to others. I still get squeamish handling physical weapons. Because of this I study and practice a few different forms of martial arts, Tamaseijiku [Judo], Tamasiniestiku [Aikido], and Tamashoa [Tai Chi Chuan] for personal defense. I made the decision to study self-defense after enrolling in the School of Applied Knowledge after high school and testing positive for capsule compatibility.

I love and enjoy many kinds of tea, though I am most familiar with Caldari cultivars. I also consume bubble tea frequently.

I am currently employed by the Wiyrkomi Honor Guard, a subsidiary of Wiyrkomi Corporation and partner to Lai Dai Infinity Systems, my previous employer.

Very well. My name is Alexander Kuvkei.

I was raised until my teen years by the Sisters of EVE, I am told I was left with them by the crew of a passing Caldari ship over seven decades ago. The Sisters were kind to me, providing me food, shelter, and education. They gave me my name, based on data they recovered about me from few items that were left with me.

When I was fourteen the orphanage I was being raised in was visited by Caldari dignitaries on a tour. Due to State's problems with low population, when they identified me as Deteis they wanted me to return to the State with them. The Sisters objected, but I wanted to see the State so they reluctantly let me go.

Upon arriving in the State I was placed in a CDB Corporation orphanage. I completed my education and was hired on by CDB. Over the years I rose trough the ranks to a managerial position. When Deep Core Mining was incorporated I was fortunate enough to secure an even higher position there and continued my rise. About a decade ago I felt that I accumulated enough wealth to strike out on my own.

I took an aptitude test to help me decide what direction to go and found that I could be a capsule pilot. I enrolled at the Science and Trade Institute and graduated about six years ago. After graduating I worked for a small private military contractor specializing in work for Spacelane Patrol. After that corporation ceased functioning due to retirements of other pilots I took a job with a much larger corporation. My work with them took me to Amarr space and eventually to Providence.

Over a year ago I returned to a base I kept in Amarr space and vacationed there for a year. I am back in space and am currently negotiating new business ventures with several other corporations.

I will keep this short as my immortal journey has just begun.

My name is Saiyon and I am a freshly licensed capsuleer.

During my training I excelled at the skills required to fully exploit cosmic anomalies and signatures, although that was hardly a surprise.

My past only concerns a limited number of people who are true to the Empire, my future has clear purpose and direction that will fully utilise the gifts bestowed on me.

Once again Amar will stride ahead in our technological advancement and leave behind those who cannot be trusted and indeed are not worthy to harness the benefits.

My role is simple yet inspiring, I will hunt down and extract any data or artifacts from any region of space and make them available to those who are loyal.

System sovereignty and the enemies guns will not deter me, after all I am immortal and guided by God.

Introductions, huh? Feels like the first day at the academy all over again, but what the hell, I'll bite. Heck, I might even tell the truth.

I'm James Gheris; Jim, even.

An only child, I was raised on some awful dirt-ball of planet out in Everyshore called Colcer X. My mother was a Mannar woman who spent her entire life on that rock. My father, on the other hand, was more of the explorer type; a real drifter who probably would'a kept on drifting if it hadn't been for Mom. Story goes that the pair was only together for a year before the complicated childbirth that killed my mother and trapped my old man on Colcer for the rest of his life. Alone now, except for the hungry newborn in tow, Dad did what he had to do and took a job in Colcer X's only real industry. The megacorps have a name for it - Topsoil Hydration and Reclamation for Agricultural Process - but anyone who's ever had to make a living doing it calls it what it is: dirt farming. It's not a glamorous family history, but there it is.

With dad breakin' his back to put food on the table and no real education system at the desert station where I grew up, I mostly raised myself. I would explore and tinker during the day, taking apart old vehicles and machinery mostly, and I would assimilate anything I could find to read at night when the old man hit the bar to forget. We lived by the skin of our teeth like this for a long time - until my 18th birthday. That night, just like he'd been waitin' for it, my old man did what he had dreamed about doing for almost two decades; he got the hell off that planet. Or, at least his soul did. The rest of himself he gleefully drank into a three-by-six hole in the ground.

I enlisted in the Federation Navy the next day, and by the end of the week I was on a military transport heading for basic out in Duripant. Somehow I ended up on the fast-track through officer school and within 2 years I was serving as the junior astrometrics officer on board a recon ship called the Argus out in the border zone. When my tour ended, I got a job in the Federation Office Of Naval Intelligence, and worked in intelligence gathering until back-door politics saw to it that I didn't anymore.

Somewhere along the way I tested highly for capsule compatibility, so with my pockets full of severance creds, I took the next logical step and got fitted for pod life. My last six months in the pod have been spent drifting, drinking, and realizing that space is almost as empty as those damn deserts back home. Dad would be proud.
