Trade/Trash LP

Just wondering if we will ever see something like that implement it,

cause i have lp from random corps were i dont want to see, and trading LP will make managing alts LP good

Hi Marivauder,

There is currently nothing in the plans for this type of change to Loyalty Points mechanics but I will pass this on to the team responsible.

I have often thought it would be cool to trade off LP's between stores. Amarr would give 70 LP per 100 for Caldari loyalty points, given their close connections, while only trading 30 LP for Minmatar. That being said, I am certainly not a game designer so I will pass it on to those who do all the appropriate calculations Smile

thanks for responding, and i like the ratio that you wouldn't get 100% of the LP

Meh. They are loyalty points, meaning they represent your character's loyalty to a specific faction or corp. If you don't like 'em, buy stuff with them and sell it on the market.

It allows cherry picking and supports those that do not plan in advance. It also makes no sense from a game lore point of view.

I would personally just prefer the option to dismiss LP for corps I have no need for... Mendolus is my original account, and thus I have random points for about twenty or so NPC corporations, ya know, 70 LP here, 23 LP there, 115 LP somewhere else...

Right clicking and dismissing the points with a warning popup... would be nice. Not a big deal, but nice.

LP trade within corps of the shame alliance could be feasible , between Caldari/Amarr and Gallente/Minmatar respectively. Trading Amarr [Enter Corp] for minmatar [corp] LP is utterly ********. Having a delete LP option would be nice for those of us who like to keep things tidy and ordered. As others above have said, not that necessary but a nice addition should they implement.

Both trading LP between characters and between corps are very much exploitable. You can farm a shitload of LP with an agent that gives crappy LP Store itens, and trade it with a corp which has an LP store with awesomesauce itens, but whose agents only give crappy LP points. Even with losing some LP in the trade, it might still be better to do that instead of running missions for crappy agents.

Also trading LP between characters is exploitable because i may raise standings on two or more characters with the same agent, and recycle mission acceptance between them to counteract the mission declining timer and standing losses if the agent gives me mission on a system i don't want to go, or a mission against one of the factions for instance.

+1 to this idea. It gets messy to see the LP list for corps I've long ago quit missioning for and a line entry is permanently devoted to an oddball amount of LP (less than 300) that I can't spend. Would be helpful to remove journal clutter.
