drivers are up to date

i have an old HDD but i dont think thats the issue because when the clients run in full screen its no issues at all
but on fixed window mode when i start 2 or 3 clients the computer turns into a BOEING 747

i would appreciate any help

please ask me if you need any extra informations

probably the gpu temperature turns to high and the fanspeed is turned up to compensate for that
a dx-diag doesnt answer anything according the source of the noise...
what case do you have?
which fans are how often used in what locations and dare they regulated somehow (voltage / PWM)?
what exact brand / version of the gtx 560 do you use? (modified cooling?)
stock coolers on cpu?

i dont think its an hardware problem i think its a software problem because eve is supposed to run on a bit less ressources on fixed window mode

-Akasa K32 - cpu fan
- Cooler Master Elite RC-360 ( comp case not the best but i move a lot so i had to keep it light)
- Gainward ( GPU ) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 2048 MB
i only got two fans in the case and these are stock fans

P.S : i dont know who would use a stock intel cpu fan in their right mind
and i know its noisy because the computer uses more ressources i only wish i knew why because in my opinion i ran eve in windowed mode in the past and its suposed to use less ressources
thanks for your help

eve using less resources in fixed window mode? never tested this, but could be...

the akasa shpould be a nice option for the relatively small case
bios (uefi?) settings for the cpu-fan could be a problem, just to mention it

i dont own something from nvidia to test, maybe the drivers have some problems?
it would not be the first time that the driver is to blame
i read that sometimes the 196.75 drivers turned the fanspeed to 100% O_o
is there an option to set the fanspeed manually? just to be sure the gpu is the source of evil noise

do you have a monitoring software to look at load, temperature and fanspeed? something like aida64 or speedfan

FWIW I have a GTX560ti and it's fan goes ballistic whenever I enter CQ. Other than that I can run three clients happily if they are all in space. I have a friend with dual GTX580's and his GPUs peg at nearly 100% usage whenever he runs his single account in CQ. That's 1024 Cuda cores! Absolutely asinine for those to be used so heavily. I would suspect inefficient coding from CCP before I suspected the drivers.

As far as I know and from my experience:
- If you have several clients open in full screen, the GPU renders only the one which is active atm.
- If you have several clients open in window mode, the GPU renders all the ones which are maximized.

Solution to your "problem": minimize the windows you're not using.

Very normal software behaviour and rather obvious if you spend a while thinking about it.

uh oh wasn't giving you any "attitude"...
...but as you don't believe what I say - perhaps you really should spend a while thinking about it - at least until gm comes and repeats what I just said and gives you a friendly hint that this your old computer did exactly the same thing, but most likely had a graphics card which did require less cooling on heavier load causing less noise.

If you ask for help - at least try to take it when it is offered.

Which sound card is used by EVE? In the past I've had several performance issues while using a RealTek onboard card. I'm not sure about your graphics card being listed as audio output (does it indeed work as a sound card or is it just some link for the HDMI ports?).

Looking for more thoughts? Follow me on Twitter.

well i am using the HDMI as sound output and it works properly

so your hypothesis is interesting maybe i should use the onboard sound output

is there any way to fix it ?

Disable the "simulate hair and clothing" setting (or whatever its called).

Reason is that will use the PhysX capabilities of the graphics cards too. Unless you spend a lot of time in CQ admiring yourself its utterly pointless anyway. I'd disable CQ as well but that's just me.

Also interval 1 in gfx settings stops Eve trying to render 300fps on a monitor that is running at 60Hz.

CQ is useless and i dont use it but i will try
