Vote match might help narrowing down key areas of interest to at least make researching a shortlist of candidates easier as a task.

I guess its viewed still important to read the issues and opinions to have a more informed view that the above guide wont provide in detail but it might help things a little?

Yep! Just saw that and am doing it now.

Yeah, it is best to get -all- of the information, but there are a lot of candidates and I am incredibly strapped for time at the moment. Just a coincidence that I have had a lot of big stuff going on the past couple of weeks, so haven't been able to sift through all the posts and try to pick out the fact from fiction.
