Vote here to make Darius III very very mad! He cries in his sleep when he's called a leaking baby.

People trading votes they obviously don't care about for plex that don't exist doesn't really strike me as a scam.

In Eve that's a huge demographic. Basically an "I Win!" ticket if you can lock it down.

What really is sad about this is that people dont seem to differentiate between activities performed by a character named Darius III inside a videogame, and activities undertaken to elect Joseph W Morris, a resident of the United States of America to a real world body responsible for representing the playerbase of said videogame.

Why should they? Politicians are lying snake bastards, but at least Darius wears it on his sleeve. I can respect that.

No, what's really sad about this is that you don't get that Darius III is actually gathering votes from his constituency: people who clearly don't give a ****. They don't give a **** about their votes or the CSM and neither does he. That's a pretty accurate representation of their will on the CSM if he gets on it, whether they intended it that way or not. I am by no means a supporter but I have to give him props for that.

Oh I get that. He is an a**hole. Nothing new there. But still, there seems to be many people in this thread not able to differentiate between a videogame and real life. Its pretty scary.

You know what Tippia? I dont f**king care about the current rules of the CSM election. I am talking about the state of afairs as I see it. The fact remains that the CSM is THERE to represent the interests of the playerbase in the continued development of EVE Online, NOT a circus arena for real life trolls like Joseph W Morris.

If people want to troll other players and/orCCP, there are plenty of opportunities both in-game and on the forums. But there should be NO seats in the CSM available for real life trolls like this guy, no matter how many in game that supports him. And in-game scamming people like this to buy votes should result in permanent an immediate ban from the CSM election. Because this is NOT a game.

…and the fact remains that selling and buying votes is allowed; scamming is allowed; and people who engage in both represent the playerbase.

Also, politician makes empty promises to win votes, film at 11.

I specifically stated that scamming to get elected to an OUT OF GAME NON-SANDBOX entity should get you banned, and yet you try to pin on me that I am against scamming in general?

You know Tippia, when it comes to a point where you can no longer differentiate between real life and a videogame, there are perhaps time to scale back and seek some proffesional help.

They are a real life entity that is supposed to represent the community in a game. The game is full of anti-social sociopaths. Darius has made himself out to be the perfect representative for them, in the game, the game that we play, for fun.

You know, when it comes to a point where you can no longer differentiate between a game for fun and serious business, there are perhaps time to scale back and seek some professional help.

Reilly you should tell Tippia about your inside info on alliance tech moon holdings while you're at it. The comedy's running a little thin on this thread.

I see you resort to control techniques as you really dont have anything intelligent to bring forward. Its okay, many have that problem.

Actually, I'm bringing that up because in that conversation you clearly couldn't distinguish between someone's in-game and out-of-game actions.
