DED Complexes Get Even More Love

Ratters and mission runners receive a wave of new DED content for Blood Raider, Sansha and Serpentis pirate factions. Over 50 sites have been added, bringing new challenges and an array of new high-end modules that are sure to please those lucky enough to procure them.

I looked through the items on sisi, nothing stood out as new deadspace loot for those factions

It would seem to me that this would lead to multiples finally, i.e. the phi-outpost wouldn't be the only serp 4/10, etc, unless they plan on adding ded 3.5s and such, or more unrated sites. I really need more time to go over the devblog, just quick posting at work ;p

People not-in-Vegas want to know:

What is the spread on more billion isk a-type drops from 4/10's?

Nerfing High-sec is never the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'YES'.

Well firstly, 4/10s don't drop a-types, so no spread ;p

Secondly, this might actually drop the value of a lot of mods if they extend the drops to multiple sites, putting more on the market. It will certainly be an interesting few weeks after this patch though, that's for sure.

According to the response I recieved it is "working as intended". So I guess it IS supposed to.
Thus my desire for the spread!

Will be interesting to see what they have done, I enjoy additions to exploration and would be perfectly happy if completely unannounced - though CCPs marketers might not like that

There are numerous ways this can be implemented though - one way is to replace each ded with a pool of deds of the same difficulty, and not spawn more sigs.

If they add unrateds, or replace any ded sig chances with unrated sig chances, then the loot rate would probably actually drop, given how often unrateds fail to pan out - or are uncompletable because of other players/sov/distance etc.

Already had this in the Exploration channel yesterday. I rarely rat and never really missioned ...

Maybe this "DED" content also includes new anomalies and missions :S

Otherwise looking forward to find out what's new.

Confirming that the Gistum A-Type Invulnerability Field drops from the Angel 4/10, "Angel Unoccupied Mining Colony" in highsec.

I pillaged Metro for 10 days immediately following Crucible launch and made an easy 10 bill just from this mod drop.

I don't mind saying this now, because Metro and Heim are now stuffed with explorers looking for them Ugh

Anyway 50 seems like an awful lot - 5-6 DED sites per faction per sec status assuming an even spread? I think CCP need to clarify this a bit more.

No angel sites...what a rip off. Only sites that are worth a damn are the Red Lights, Occupied Mining, and if your really bored, Minor angel annex for domination rat at the end. Maybe we will get lucky and next patch will be 100 sites for angels ;)

DED sites only respawn during DT. Is this correct?

False, consensus is sites respawn somewhere else once they're cleared. They're stay in the exact same place through DT, and only disappear once someone completes then, or they expire naturally (again, +- 3 days lifetime if the forums are anything to go by)
