Screw medals, I want a special CSM-only diplomatic shuttle, for use when I need to about the people's business.

as with almost all the unique ships it would sold to only sit and rot, too valuable to use, or used and blown up in high sec by someone willing to suicide for it.

Nah, I'd fly it and let people try and blow it up, just for the lols.

Of course, given that it's a diplomatic shuttle, it ought to have diplomatic immunity... Twisted

They should be like n00b ships, respawn every time you dock with a pod and in the hold should be a spork and one broken monocle.

Trebor has been a candidate i have enjoyed since he got into CSM 5 and his continued work to bring about ideas and thoughts from all eve players to CCP have been better then some of the other candidates.

I've mainly stayed away from POSes because of the complication and rather annoying chores you have to take to setup, run, and live in one. Trebor has been a CSM member to constantly drive to CCP for changes to the POS and i have seen minor changes that CCP has done because of him and the CSM. I know that Trebor's dream of the perfect POS is my dream and therefore he shall gain my vote!

Finally, I intend to continue to push hard for a proper reform of the CSM voting process, aimed at reducing the number of "wasted" votes (which unfairly reduces the voting power of non-bloc candidates, and thus reduces the number of their representatives on the CSM). The CSM should properly represent the interests of the entire community.

The CSM voting process should use Instant Runoff Voting. It's a reasonable iteration on the current system and makes sure every vote counts (even if people don't get their first or second choice).

Also, please fix POSes, thanks, bye.

IRV is a decent way of expressing preferences, but it has one major drawback; it requires more effort on the part of the voter to select their preferences, and in the context of EVE elections, that plays into the hands of organized groups of voters.

An alternate method is to flip it around: vote for a single candidate (as now), but let the candidate publicly specify what other candidates get the votes they can't use (either because they have too many, or too few).

There are even hybrids of both systems -- voters get to enter their preferences, but if those run out and the vote is going to be discarded, the candidate preferences are used.

The fact that there are so many interesting possibilities -- and that EVE players can be so diabolical -- is why I favor a public discussion of the subject, as opposed to it getting decided in a smoke-filled room.

I love this idea, and will blatantly abuse my authority and suggest it to CCP.

While I have had and have expressed my concerns over the activeness of the CSM members Trebor is by far the most active I see on the forums. Trebor you are definately topping my list but I have not made a final decision as to who will get my vote. Best of luck to you and I do hope you remain on the CSM.

Let me tell you a liitle tale

This wannabe politician walks into S&I with grand plans

He convinces a lot of people there to work with him on improving PI

His total contribution to this 'Project' he has started some 3 weeks ago is 2 posts in a thread

so far this so called represantative has done sweet diddley squat to follow through on his promises.

He is obviously

1. An icompetnet organiser

2. A liar an truely uninterested in the things he says he is.

3. A liabilty as a beaurocrat

And most likely

4. Unable to face the truth when he will most likely glibbly tries to explain he has been very busy with the election recently (read : having his booty kissed by his sycophantic peons ) he hasn't forgotten the project (read : **** I wish no one had rembered I'd said that) and will get round to it (read:surely this idiot will get bored and forget about it soon)

So F U

F the CSM

F CCP for creating the CSM

Bascially I don't won't to be involved in your purile political RP nor do I want it in my gaming life but like most things you can't change in life , I turn a blind eye and leave well enough alone.

But understand this CSM stay out my life, my threads, my face and MY game, have you stupid masquarede for all I care, be warned though I'd advice you give me (and what I love) a VERY wide birth

Hello Trebor!

After looking through a decent lot of threads I've come to the conclusion that you're the best candidate running. Hans Jagerblitzen however does also seem like a good candidate. If you should endorse someone else than yourself (Politician and all that. P ), would Hans be on the list of endorsed candidates?

Let me tell you a little tale my fellow ignorant capsuleer. Trebor did a great job in organizing and elicitating feedback from all player groups as part of the 10,000 papercuts initiative/thread. This project is now a new SCRUM team in CCP, and this team has delivered a lot of the recent features and fixes to core gameplay.

Oh look, a genuine good old-fashioned internet-hardman. I thought they'd almost died out on these forums, but here's a full-fledged, healthy and ludicrously aggressive specimen

Mate believe It ain't just on the weebs I'm a rough Mofo

I live in one of the poorest area of the poorest cities in Britian.

Imagine the face just to left on a 6' 200 pd scouser and you have probably got a fair picture of me.

Meanwhile back at the intrweebs...

I also do a fair 'Forum Whiteknight' act too if you'd like to see it Blink

I can't claim credit for the papercuts project, but it is clear that the Prioritization Crowdsourcing work I did provided them with useful information about what the community wanted.

As for the gentleman who is upset that a discussion about PI improvements that started only a few weeks ago is not already implemented, all I can say is that I am doing everything I can behind the scenes to make sure it gets considered.

So as I said your doing nothing and your power is impotent basically.

My experience with scousers is that they think they're ace at dishing it out, but they can't take it back. After living in Liverpool for 5 years, I don't find them intimidating, just annoying. They're just the type to give mouth on a forum, knowing full well that they won't ever be asked to cash the cheques their mouth is writing.

If you want to influence Trebor's actions on the CSM, try putting forward constructive, fact-based comment, rather than abuse in a whiny nasal accent.
