Yeah, really sweet video. Just because it's a well used playstyle nowadays doesn't invalidate it any.

All in all it was OK but a bit long. You probably didn't need the Vindicator footage in there or half the other stuff.

After all your snide commentary on other peoples perfectly decent videos I was expecting something worth watching.

What I got was something like a hybrid of DHB Wildcat tactics mixed with NightmareX level competence.

I like how you imply solo but your fleetmembers are clearly visible in system.

There was far too much whining in the commentary. The excuses for running away were amusing at least.

Shoddy heat and cap management.... etc.

Next time be a bit more humble on the forums and you won't be judged so critically yourself.

Its good to see some nice brawling action...it inspire me to keep looking for solo when i just wanna blob like everyone does

I also agree with some of the criticism here.

Haven't had that rail gun fit on my adrestia for a while, got a bit boring, though with the rail buff it was actually pretty good. Imagine a vagabond with more damage, much more range, a point that can go 60k (over 100 with gang boosters and overload), and goes over 4k a second with gang boosters, 6k overloaded. Oh, and a bigger drone bay :)

Unfrtunately, I only have sporadic internet access atm, hence the late reply (when I did have access, I preferred to give the others who posted videos over the last days feedback... wtf is it with eve video makers, almost nothing for like 2,5 months and then 2 vids a day for a week )

Yes, I could have tackled that Ashimmu. I did click the scram and probably did so just one tick too late - and cursed myself for not dropping it off the non-aligned Drake earlier. Such is the power of wrong mindsets, I expected them to warp in more, not to bail again after a single loss.

Also, yeah, I was quite surprised that I actually liked some Robbie Williams stuff, and it is strictly limited to "Swing when you're winning" which is a simply epic album if you have any foible for jazz. Damn that guy for wasting his voice on his usual ventures.


I thought a while what to make of this post, and I decided in the end that the last paragraph is probably just a pre-emptive counter troll, so I'll thank you for the earlier parts. The Vindicator clips certainly were low risk, and I am fully aware that my "safety first" approach limited my performance. But you can see them trying to bump me off the gate in both clips, and I think it might have turned sour if I had been more aggressive - but we'll never know.

What you wrote about shield tanks makes a lot of sense. I usually overload the invul because it gives some almost free ehp and cap efficiency, but in my mind the effect was greater than eft says it is, and you are right, overloading any module for long continuous times deals too much heat damage. During the fight in Antem, I made a clear mistake there (and also said so in the movie), but I'll rethink my heat management approach overall. Cheers.

Guess what, I have no problem being judged as harshly as you wish, as long as it is fair and helpful. You consider clips boring? Tell me which ones. Whining in the commentary, excuses? Hmm, if someone had accused me of whining thanks to he opening voice over, I would have understood it, but in the comments? All I did was give some insight into my decision making which does not have to be perfect but which I thought would make the video more entertaining.

Yes, there was some shoddy micromanagement, I never claimed to be perfect. Still think it's ok though. If not, what do you think was bad? Remeber, being helpful and constructive is the key.

Also, re: snide comments. I thknk the only comment I ever left that I might have considered "snide" was in Laktos' second video, and he seems to not mind. All were strictly trying to be, once again, constructive.

Shiroi also said in the mail that I should clarify that he did not bet against his own team. I was semi active in another alliance's team at the time, and the bet basically was "if one of us finds himself with more cash than usual after the tournament, he'll give the other a pirate bs". That one outcome was much more likely than the other was clear to both of us at
the time, so the ship should be considered a gift.

I personally think your Vindi parts we’re risky in certain areas as you said you were a little scared to aggress and other factors - I would say 70% of your other ships fights were low risk pvp. You actually failed to show me your point which you brought up in your video although I value you trying!

But this is all subject to someone’s opinion on the matter and we’re all entitled to that. At the end of the day we all come to this sub forum to be entertained and maybe inspired at times, it’s just a shame that some people watch peoples vid’s as if there marking someone’s written exam. Although help should always be appreciated!

The best constructive criticism I could give is work on your camera view. I think at times it’s too focused on your ship, zoom out a little so we can see more of what’s going on in the fight and not have to use the overview as a guide. It is something that can be hard to master and I do struggle with it myself!
