Been tempted to buy the core books after reading the free SRD ... well, the PDF's off a "friend" that were legally his and he never ever shared with me and I didn't bother to ask where they were from and I never ever placed on my Ipad and I never found in a strange place off the net.

Unfortunately, the Gamers Den forums, a place of CAOD like villainy and KUGU's level of strange inner circle zones languages and customs plus assorted patois seems to hate it for reasons I find too abstract yet oddly logical and the response from EN worlds has been ... "special", also some of the Fat Guy's views seem to fall on the Gamers Den stance too. So much hate can only mean something is being done right in my skewed view of the gaming worlds.

But the thing is, anyone here plays it? Before shelling 3 days off my hard sweat drenched and earned salary in the core books was wondering if anyone here played it and was willing to share anything on it.

Game came to my attention after I found out a friend in Japan was telling me some groups there play it over regular D&D. If it managed to go that far It must be worth a look.

The Books I perused were interesting, neatly formatted and had a nice set of illustrations and a solid index for quick referencing, also the vague familiarity with D&D 3.0/3.5 was welcome after my geek spirit was soured on the promise of D&D 4E that never came to pass after several years and books. So as I wait on 5E D&D want to try something else, since Dark Heresy/WFRP3E just became a collector's hobby of mine rather than a playing RPG for me.

Though I adhere to/loathe the "Fighters can't have nice things" stance somewhat, I actually enjoyed 3.5 a ton even if it was broken. 4E was to my tastes like a wedding cake, superbly decorated, no real taste inside.
