Assuming multiple pilots in a single fleet kill a rat...

1) Is the bounty split among all parties?
2) Is the security status gain split among all the parties?

Depends, are the multiple people in the same fleet?

If I recall correctly, if they are NOT in the same fleet, the bounty and sec status reward either goes to whoever gets the killing blow (or maybe it is whoever deals the most damage?)

If the multiple people are in a fleet, the bouty/sec status reward gets split.

Of course, I have never tested this myself, so I might be wrong (except for the fleet part - I do this on a regular basis)

Multiple pilots in one fleet.

Bounties are split amongst pklots in the fleet.

I have been told that, up until recently, security status gains were shared among everyone who killed the rat. However, recently, CCP changed this so only the person who gets the final blow on the rat gets the sec status increase.

Can someone at CCP confirm this? It seems to be true based on my experience last night.

That was never the case.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

Some people are telling me that it changed with Incursions so that only the pilot landing the final blow gets an increase. Do you mean it was always like that?

I can confirm this. Some guys and I used to do roams out into 0.0 every once in awhile to raise our sec-status (we shoot things we're not supposed to you see)... nowadays we have to do it generally solo and in large enough ships (Assault Ships aren't fast enough to solo rat in hostile territory).

I didn't try to figure the math on the sharing, but after dual-boxing a mish this week-end, I noticed me and my alt both had gained sec status.
For bounties, I read some time ago in some corp chat, that it was shared evenly up to 10 fleet members, period. Might have changed, but maybe not. I noticed the split bounties weren't consistently even when dual-boxing this week-end, but it wasn't a dramatic difference, maybe 1 percent more or less.
Edit: misread a previous response, nvm.

Bounty is shared amongst people in same fleet on the same grid where the kill happened.
