Yeah, the guy acts goofy, but he's an amazing genius in sales. HE was asked by the producer (a close friend) to be in the show b/c of his expertise.

He seems to know people as well. He went to the drummer for Sting a couple fo episodes ago.

I have actually met Dave. I work for a company that makes software that storage companies use to maintain the sites and do billing. I will tell you the show is pretty much bunk. Nothing ever goes down the way it does in that show. It's pretty much all an act. Fun show to watch though. I like history programs where you actually learn a thing or two. Pawn Stars is my favorite.
