Gravimetric sites in HS

Just curious, but is their a mining corp out there that buy scanned down gravi sites?

I find them all the time, like at least 1 or 2 each system i travel through in the Forge, seems a shame to waste them if any miners out there would actually use them.

I only explore The Forge for 3/10 and 4/10 complexes, but if anybody does know of a corp or individuals that would get some use out of the mining sites, let me know and i'll gladly pass the BM's on.

I fear that most industrial corps would be suspicious of you and reject the idea of someone actually being nice.

You're very unlikely to find anyone wanting to pay for them ... and most ppl prolly not even want them for free. If I wasn't planning to mine it myself I used to drop a few BMs in a jet can and announce in local what the site was and where the can was. Then I'd just move on to scan the next system.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Much more profitable to just live in a wormhole and mine out the wormholes grav sites. You get **** tons of ore in there.

I appreciate your sentiment, but finding sites is exceedingly easy. If mining corps wanted to mine hidden belts then they would just scan them down. :-)

The other problem is that non miners often don't appreciate the difference between a grav with the good stuff mined out, and a fresh grav.

looks like its just about 25% more profitable ores, than Veldspar. Never did serious mining, thought maybe rare ores gives much more ISK.

Grav sites are usally not much better then belt mining, and therefore for most miners, having to pay for them would kill any extra profit they would make.

Well, judging by the replies it looks like the BM's will just go to waste, shame but i guess suspition is the very nature of EVE.


If any miner types do want any/all of the grav sites i find in the forge - FOR FREE - feel free to msg me and i'll gladly let you have them if you'll get any use out of them.
