Keep PI command center on decommission or not?

Simple question, but I keep seeing conflicting info. The sentence I keep seeing is:

"If the Command Center is decommissioned, all other buildings in the colony will be lost!"

Does that imply that you keep the Command Center when you decommission it, or lose it?

And if you don't lose it, is it still deployed on the same planet or in your cargo? (I.e., can you move it to a different planet?)

if you decomm a structure, it gets destroyed.

If you decomm a CC, it gets destroyed, along with the rest of the colony.
