So I recently played through MS2 again on PS3 ready for MS3 next week. I had played it on my old housemates Xbox but was frustrated that I had not played MS1 and was unable to make the choices I had wanted, such as saving the council etc.

I did play a bit of MS1 on PC so have managed to play the series on all three platforms.

Anyways I discovered that with the PS3 version you make important choices via a interactive comic in lieu of MS1 and then play the version of MS2 you want to play.

Anyways it started me wondering what choices other players have made and are taking into MS3 when it arrives next week.

I'll just list my big choices.

I romanced Ash.

Sacrificed Kaiden.

Saved Wrex.

Saved the Rachni Queen.

Saved the Council.

Picked Anderson as Councillor.

I kept the genophage research.

Released the Virus to alter the Geth heretics.

Tried to convince the Quarians not to retake their home world.

Didn't romance anyone in MS2.

I blew up the collector base.

What choices did you make and do you regret them now you know more about MS3?

Same as yours, Mentorm, except for romancing Liara instead of Ash. In various play-throughs of ME2 I've had romances with all the choices, but the one I kept for ME3 didn't have a romance; the picture of Liara is still on the desk. Though I did have a fling with Kelly Chambers...

PVP is a question with no single right answer, but a lot of wrong ones.

Just FYI, no major plot points are affected whatsoever by your actions. Basically it affects some sideline fluff.

Just take mass effect for what it is, a great linear quasi-rpg shooter with an average Sci-Fi story.
