Wine + Ubuntu 11.10 + Pulseaudio

I'm having issues getting my sound to work properly. Alsa rips complete control of the audio when launching wine, but pulseaudio randomly stops playing sound from EVE as well as when it does work, eve voice is choppy. If I uninstall pulse, eve works just fine but then Skype does not work and I have to reboot everything to change mic to ts for instance.

Any tips?

When sound from eve stops, I just go to eve client, pick the 'Default System Device' and press "echo test"/"stop echo test" to force eve to reconnect to pulseaudio.

In some extreme cases I have to restart pulseaudio itself using "pulseaudio -k". It restarts in a couple seconds and most apps reconnect to it automatically. For eve I just use the method described above.

Open your eyes. And awaken.

Yea I do that, but in some cases it stops within a minute and then when I can get it to work, eve voice stutters a lot.
