Well... now you actually have to give up your 5 scientists in order to complete the mission. Now how am I going to finish my scientist collection? Roll

On the other hand, be ready to tank like you've rarely tanked before on a level 2. The incoming DPS when the mercs spawn might take you by surprise if you're somewhat new. And by surprise, I mean just having picked up your 5 scientists to take over to the other container when the DPS love envelopes you. (with a Spider Drone II webbing you just for grins)

I decided to build some standing with a different corp and was doing the few lvl 2s I needed in a Myrm to unlock lvl 3s. Since i was doing level 2s in a BC I was being lazy and not researching the missions and had a poor tank fit but still better than most cruisers would have. By the time I got the Scientists in the container there were a ton of BC's attacking me. When I warped out I was at 75% hull with 2 medium armor reps running. It was quite a surprise.

Also Killing the webber just spawned another one and I believe triggered another wave.

You need to have a very good tank and speed... Lots of speed. It's definitely not a typical lvl 2.

I say this is more of an L3 in my experiences, Ended up finishing it in a thorax for DPS while a corpmate tanked it in a TRIPLE rep omen.

This mission is definitely not a typical L2, as neubus said before me.

How much herp could a herp derp derp if a herp derp could herp derp.

Helped a newbie friend with this in the pass tank Cane i do 3s in without any problems at all(there are always exceptions), the incoming damage was indeed alot, lowered my shields more there than in most 3s.
The mission is supposed to drop 5 scientists but as I understand it sometimes dont. The friend had that problem the first time around but when he did it yesterday the scientists seemed to drop. Dont know if that means its fixed or he was just lucky.

Oh man, I got this mission a couple of days ago in my Moa - it was impossible - I decided to take the standings hit and decline the mission after warping out with half my hull gone... I've almost got a Drake with a T1 fit, ready, which *might* be able to handle it in the future?

(By that I mean complete it - not kill everything?)

(Pity I couldn't swap to my main (mission runner) with a Mega). (This is my exploration/mining/combat alt (aiming for a Rokh) - (also aiming for standings with Gallente and Caldari - (Wyirkomi and FIO atm.))).

This is actually the first mission I failed in EVE. And oh boy I failed big time. The scientists spawned for me (that was about a month ago or so). Before I realized the amount of damage my Caracal made a beautiful *pop*. This mission made me realize I need to get my basic skills up. Haven't got it again yet since I haven't really had time to play. I was 1 mil SP back then. Good to see I wasn't the only one having problems with this mission, though. Big smile Good luck to others! (i did manage to retrieve all my stuff luckily!)

This is a major fail for me. I went back in a number of times finding more Mercs every time. I have spent over 10,000,000 isk trying to complete this mission. Ive killed over 20 several BCs as well. I do not believe it is possible alone.
There must be a trick or something because it is out of line with any other level 2 mission Ive played.

I did it low SP in a Vexor, just got to remember to not let your drones anywhere near the AoE bit. I just ran around keeping max range and swearing a lot.

As it turned out, I did this one and was surprised, to put it lightly. I started the mission in my navy issue Comet, but that wasn't even going to come close. So I got my Myrmidon and after warping out and back in several times, I was able to complete killing all the mercs. However... Alas, no scientists (I'm guessing whatever container they were in timed out and that's why I couldn't get them, but still a glitch worth taking a look at I think). Luckily, I had some sitting in a hangar somewhere (well, not enough so I still had to go find one in a contract), so I went and picked them up and... Delivered them to the waiting ship and got out of there. Mission complete. Do I get a medal now? :P

killed everything in a dps-fit drake (4 BCS's), then again... it's a drake lol
