Hi there. I'm looking for a UK based corp to join please.


About me:
Mature ( 40s ) UK gamer ( Cardiff ), very self sufficient, looking at giving eve online another stab. Dipped my toes into eve many times, never really lasted. Part of my problem was not really knowing what to do next, the utter open endedness of eve makes setting self goals quite overwhelming to start. Anyway I hear it's a common hump and I keep falling at it :) I have a character from way back who was combat orientated, I used to fly to asteroids looking for mobs to kill, got bored. The character is very old and probably gimped to hell and back and it would be nice if someone could help me work out if he's a total lost cause or not. Came back a few days ago, and made a second char, planning on going for industrial and having a crack at the market.
Play lot of other games, would like to give eve a bigger stab this time but my record to date isn't stable with eve.

What I'm looking for:

Uk based corp, size doesn't matter, but want an active community website, forums etc... and a bit more meat in the forums than people just saying hi to each other - stuff to do, guild needs to be met, plans etc... Probably a smaller corp or a very well organised bigger corp. I'm very happy to start at the very bottom sweeping the toilets, I have no illusions about starting at the top :)
I'm looking to find a spot or nice in the corp that gives me purpose and in so doing helps with the what do I do next problem.
Would love some sort of industry spot where I make stuff that other players put to use and can see what my efforts a for.
I don't need cash or handouts, in fact I don't want any, I find it much more rewarding to achieve through effort.
I don't mind evil corp if it's well organised and has clear aims goals purpose, common sense and intelligence but random morons ganking newbs for the lulz isn't my cup of tea sorry ( apart from reading about goonswarm/goonsquad exploits :) ). Would prefer a corp with honour and intelligent goals. It would be great to get involve with a corp where my contribution meant something to the greater good.
I realise my eve toe dipping history doesn't make me prime material, but I've been honest up front and I'm not after handouts so I think I'm low risk. Need direction and info more than anything else. Not interested in cloak and dagger ( enjoy reading about it though ), wanna make stuff :)

If you are spamming for any and all members to get your new corp numbers up then I'm probably not the one for you. If you need a guy to make the shiney thing around the edge of bullets because you are missing a shiney thing on bullets maker then we should talk.

UK based isn't essential, just convenient. Happy to use vent etc...

Hello, I would like to tell you about Eve Defence Force, we are a primary pvp corp looking to expand and improve our-self, with a RL first ideal and fun outlook into life.

Alfonse, I like the fact that ou're being honest. Frankly we are looking for more experienced pilots, but still :) In our relatively small corp you'd be the third GMT 40+ player, most of us are in their 30's though. More about u here:
