CCP Zulu is awesome. By simply posting "watch this space" he diffused what was about to explode into a FiS vs. WiS thread.

They've said before, no char-char combat, its not Mortal Kombat, its Eve and no pod pilot is going to risk perma death for a bar brawl. WIS is suposed to be 4 racial quarters with docking areas and station promenades with stores that are player run and thats it.

So why wouldn't your clone wake up if you die in a station? How is it different to dying in space?
Surely someone could tell the people keeping your clone, that you have infact died, and it'd be nice to have that clone activated?

I don't mean to railroad the thread. Just a little question.
As you were (waiting for Zulu?).

maybe joves will grant more technology and let capsulars d/l into a new clone after death out of pod.

There could always be item restrictions walking outside of CQ (say in a high sec station). If CCP is ambitious, combat on npc deadspace stations. Shoot a gang lord and take his clothes and sell them or wear them, like rare items you can retrieve in character and escape in ship. Soon, in 2015 maybe.

Because in the Lore, the purpose of the pod to begin with is partly control mechanism and partly clone scanner. The pod, when it starts to detect a breach, fries your brain getting a fast scan to transmit to the cloning network. It's so deeply ground into the Lore that pod pilots often live their whole lives without unplugging because of the unpleasant nature of decanting and the vulnerability of being on wiggly little legs.

Walking in Stations goes against the very core of what EVE is. It has no place in the game. And the pod jacuzzi in the CQ especially has no room in the game (it's an insult to everyone who's ever played or worked on developing the game.)

Supposedly, they were going to explain away the Lore with something about using the same tech the Dusters use, except CCP cba'd. They've stopped caring about what makes EVE, EVE.

Maxim 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.

Dear OP,

You've got the basic idea for trolling down, but you need to make your delivery less obvious or more believable.

because last i checked i don't want to lag for 20 mins every time i die? incarna was too resource intensive for a good chunk of eve players, especially if u ran more then 1 client at a time..

imagine being ganked while running a 5 account mining op.... computer would probably catch on fire.

next is simple, a vast majority don't want incarna, or only want it to be a casual thing. sure, i'l walk around, and hang in station, when i want to, and doing things in station shouldn't have any impact outside of it.

this means
no "suicide" ganking in station
no uber professions like in station courier missions
no needed to enter WIS to accept or finish missions

establishments and poker in station would be entirely dependent on players joining the table, therefore not bad.

Anyways the bottom line is this game is already 99% all about useless FiS (Flying in Space). The winter expansion needs to focus a majority of its development time on AEiCQ (Adult Entertainment in Captains Quarters). I joined this game mainly due to exotic dancers and stripping poles are the game play CCP needs to focus on. Sure change the armor tank on wtf pwnmobiles if you must, but keep the focus on exotic dancers on the poles.

It's what the players want, its what CCP want and its what I want. Do it!

Okay. So the lore is that the capsule does it. Got it.

@Herping yourDerp: How in the *beep* did your post then have anything to do with what I said?
Please don't herp your derp like that again. using my post like you did so you could ramble on about useless stuff makes me feel dirty.

PS: I am now taking a shower to get this dirty feeling off me.. Sad

Just because someone does not think like you, does not make them a troll. In my world, you are what is wrong with the game and what holds it back. That said you don't see me running around in your threads calling you a troll do you?

Didn't think so.

Stuff...

If you had Gallentean blood in your veins, I would happily invite you to my CQ for exotic dancing lesson. However because you share my Minnyish bloodline, I just leave it there and express my sincere relief about the fact that we both hate Amarrians.

Anyways as side question... shall we try and make spacebabies (ingame)? That would make excellent content for winter expansion.
