What does the Atomic Bombing of Nagasaki have to do with what was said.

The poster Falin quoted said the Riv got dunked on. Falin then said that saying he was dunked on was like saying only one bomb was dropped on that city. As in alluding to the bombing as an event with less significance then its due. Basically what Falin was saying is dunked is not a strong enough description of the win.

I do not see the historical rewrite. One Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and that is all that was mentioned. I do not see why mentioning Nagasaki is an issue.

You're reading “only one bomb” as “just a single bomb (never mind that it was a huge one!)”; he's reading it as “only one bomb (never mind that two a-bombs were used)” and thinking that Falin incorrectly believes that both bombs were dropped on the same city.

You're reading it as underplaying the effect of the bomb; he's reading it as (incorrectly) underplaying the number of bombs.

The point is that Riverini wants the panties to drop like a-bombs when you push the butan next to the captain's door. Panty dropping is the killer app, perhaps literally if atomic bombs are involved. Not sure on that last bit.
