R&D agents broken?

Since some time today, I'm getting more RPs from level 2 agents and less RPs from a level 3 agent?

Should I petition this?

Different types of datacores cost different amounts and therefore the agents give different amounts of RPs. I forget which are which, but I know the weapon ones cost 100 RP each, while things like Hydromagnetic physics only cost 50.

Some research fields give twice or three times the RP but their datacores cost twice or three times as much so the net result is indifferent.

Do you have the same skills in both fields? also is the rp cost the same for both datacores? most are 50 some are 100/150
