logistics ships ?? WTH

I agree with the OP.

If you get Wardec'd by a Corp they should have the Balls to fight and Win instead of Using Cheap tactics to turn the fight. I had a fight with 2 vindi's and a fleet typhoon and they only won as they had 3 RR guardians helping.

I'm not crying about it but would be nice if the Guardians then had to take part in the War for as long as the Dec lasts, at least you know what your facing.

Oh and also, it's always the bad ass "Merc" corps who use this tactic, not so bad ass i have to say.

okay heres what you do, get yourself a few ecms ships and **** their logi up, no lock. no rep

ECM doesn't really work on station in high sec, if you attack the neuts they will dock and then undock. Either they'll undock and continue repping, or they'll undock in combat ships.

It's one of the many reasons high sec wars are a joke, hopefully CCP will deal with all of the problems with it in inferno.

Some of them aren't even neutral RR for hire Lol

I used to sit on the undock every now and then in amarr/jita when I was bored, if I saw a fight going on I'd start repping both sides until someone attacked me. Then I'd undock a vindi, warp my other RR alts onto the top of the station and **** them xD

Yea, we went through that and had a fun grouping of fights with them. Ultimately you beat that with EWAR. It is tough but if you are organized you can accomplish one of two things... you can either kill their RR when they go "red" or you can force them off the field by docking/warping. Neuts work best for this as most good Neutral RR setups run ECCM in my experience (The God Squad). Either the Reppers are forced to dock/undock again and again and that is fine since while they are docking they are not repping and have to relock targets, or they are gonna die/be useless. Just figure out a counter to it, don't try and complain about someone using a strategy. It may be annoying but it can also be fun to overcome it.

tl;dr - exactly HOW would forcing the logi ships to be in corp affect anything?

I would support logi getting a 1min docking timer on repping, but I imagine having a beneficial action get flagged as aggressive is outside of the ability of the current crimewatch code, so I assume fixes like this need to wait a little while.

This is the most commonly proposed change to try and "fix" highsec PVP, the reality is that the net effect it would have would be to encourage even more logistics-heavy fleet compositions because the solution to logistics ships not being able to dock to is to bring even more logistics ships.

The people it would effect more than anybody else in highsec are people who like to fight outside stations over can aggro with a single logistics ship for support and the folks in dodixie who like to rep for aggression, although they would probably just use battleships instead of t1 cruisers.

The real issue with the perceived "neutral logistics problem" is that the vast majority of people in highsec don't know how to fight logistics and are too stupid to add neutrals who have been seen assisting their enemies as contacts and never use their D-scanner.

Even if you made it so you can only assist people who are in your alliance and gave logistics ships a 1 minute jump/dock timer people will still come to the forums and complain about logistics because they want the game to penalize their opponent for them because they don't want to have to think or be prepared in order to win fights.
