That number is pretty big. Considering the size of the target audience by comparison to the size of the "other" target audience which is the rest of the world. I would go as far as to say that so far EvE has been more successful in China than the rest of the world combined.

. . .and the chinese population is /not/ stricken with the same poverty?

Chinese poverty right now as defined by the world bank, and reported by the chinese gov. is 16%. But that figure is disputed as being purposely reported low.

World poverty with the same parameters minus the chinese population is 15.6 percent.

The point is that Hilmar released monocles last year, and the world poverty lvl has been rising ever since then. We are suppose to be richer then the chinese but now are poorer thanks to one man.

Most of the Serenity subscriptions will be secret police to monitor the few genuine players it has.

Also, if you click your heals together and utter the words "Tienanmen Square" three times, you'll disappear almost instantly Lol
