The preferred incursion ship for caldari?

As a returning player I am interested in checking out all this incursion content. I have plenty of sp. The only issue is I just fly caldari. Some old friend suggested that I put together a basilisk and go join some public fleets to get a feel for the sites, but most fleets seem to be after damage dealing ships rather than logistics, and the few looking for logistics ships appear to preference the scimitar.

Basilisk. No other Caldari ships are really suited for Incursions.

You can also try a Tengu. They are well liked for being good frigate and cruiser killers while sporting a very nice tank.

I dunno where you got your impressions from, but for public fleets logistic ships are more in demand and also basilisk gets sought after more than scimitar

Rokh works. You likely won't get into shiny fleets, but you can probably get into cheap shield BS fleets while you train up your Gallente skills P

Vindicator. I say this because, as a Caldari, he probably already has hybrids trained decently.

If not, go Amarr instead and get into a Legion.

I have to give CCP some credit. It appears they finally designed some pve content that caldari do not dominate.

Bravo. Lol

Nightmare is sort of caldari, it's the best incursion ship for OTAs and NMCs too.

None of the BS's are bad if you want to go sniping in AS/HQ's, I'm told the scorp is better in an ECM role for HQ's, though.

Seconding that the Nightmare seems popular enough in the NM/Mach gangs for Vanguards. And yeah it's also Amarr BSs and pulse lasers which is never a bad move.
