Windows installer is broken. Still

The windows installer has never worked correctly; but the latest error is that whatever folder I choose on my D:\ drive, it says it cannot install to empty folders.

Also, the forum thread telling people where the three individual install files are (why three? why not just one?) does not work either, it's for the wrong version of Eve.


Come on guys, make it so that the game can at least be installed!

After a LOT of searching I found the new download link for the three installer files. I downloaded, and asked to install. Nope, it still fails on any location on my drive D:\ saying "Archive Extraction Failed 3"
