Online setup issue

I have an issue with getting the latest build.

When the client boots me to windows to start the online setup and update and I push "next" it starts normally, then i says "initializing download" in the progress bar caption, after a couple of seconds the caption changes to "-a chinese symbol-d," after which nothing happens. The online setup does not freeze, but there is no download either. I've looked around the forums for possible solutions, but none of the available guides and workarounds here have gotten me any results.

I'm running windows XP, if that's any help. I hope you can help me with this issue. =)
