I've been sitting here wondering if getting all upset about who might win the CSM elections and is it really worth the indigestion.

I came to a realization it's not.

Ultimately our subscriptions will be the determining factor for CCP. Yeah... the present CSM can claim responsibility of CCP changing direction all they want. Reality is, the falling subscription base is what ultimately got CCPs attention.

So...

We could address all the hate filled comments that came from Mittani and the rest of the CSM and goons as we were unsubbing last year.

We could address how the Goons continue to try and sometimes do scam new comers in the recruiting channel, even though it's clearly stated in moderation of that channel not to do so.

We could address how certain members of the CSM have little or no working knowledge of WH mechanics or other game mechanics. (I certainly don't know all parts of the game. However I don't pretend I do.)

We could address how certain posts disappear per ISD or other moderators after someone points out a RL attack made towards a fellow player by a Goon. Yeah yeah... just a coincidence that you cleaned only one post.

We could address how The Mittani holds people who didn't vote for him last election in contempt and considered usless to him.

We could address a lot of things. But ultimately the only thing we need to remember is that our subscriptions will be what effects CCPs bottom line and ultimately how they proceed with the game.

Sure... the CSM effects the bottom line when you consider the free air fare and whatever luxuries afforded to them to act as puppets for CCP.

I can say that I've never voted in the CSM elections before this year. However, my 5 accounts will be voting this year. No, not for anyone presently holding a CSM tag.

I feel they all sat by and reaped the rewards of the ones who unsubbed and now taking credit for something they had nothing to do with short of disdain and mocking the ones who were unsubbing. Yeah... I was there and I remember being called a lot of names...peasant.

Good luck to all and thank you CCP for making a great game. You just need to get rid of some useless chairs in your offices is all. IMight I recommend removing the puppets in those chairs while you're at it?

Oh... remember, each subscription lost due to newb griefing be it via scam recruitment etc is one less source of income for CCP to make this even more awesome than it is now. Keep that in mind when you think of how many recruiting scams your fearful CSM leader's alliance runs on a daily basis.!

Ok really who is your main that has failed to get on the CSM year after year?

Like it or not the current CSM has done more to help CCP understand there own game and make positive changes than any other CSM so far. You just sound ******** saying they have nothing to do with it.

Also come out of your WH, I think something in there is effecting your posting, TIA.

For your info I nor any of my toons have ever ran for the CSM as I see it a waste of revenue that CCP could be using elsewhere.

So you are mad and your plan is to paint the entire serving CSM with the same brush? Your entire post basically announces that you've not bothered to research any of your conclusions at all. Feel free to explain my selfish reasons for running for re-election though; I'm quite curious to have it explained to me how I've been CCP's puppet and whatever other tinfoil conspiracies you might have.

CSM 6 can partially claim that. However they represent the players at that stakeholders table.They represent us as a sanity check for CCP.

What CSM 6 did was organise what players wanted. Thats all they had to do. A little diplomacy, some project management skills and an understanding of business and software development went a long way. They took the players top few concerns just pushed those, like you do in Agile.

What you need to realise is, regardless of who was in CSM6 they what they needed to do. They represented the player base, the core concerns and got these looked at and fixed.

Even if I wasn't in the CFC Mitanni will still get 1 of my votes this year, because frankly, he did a good job. He and CSM 6 got Flying in space on the path to getting fixed and brought changes players like myself have wanted for years; like the hybrid fix.
