CCP's "Performance" patch

Don't know about anyone else but running 2 clients is gotten worse for me with the new "performance" patch that was supposed to make the overview more responsive except all I see in difference is a little padlock that stops me getting pods.

Everytime I run 2 characters and leave 1 idle for a bit of time and go back onto his screen, opening up a ship maintenance array or corp array at a pos locks both clients up and my mouse until the hangers have loaded there contents.

Not to mention when I have IGB open on both clients my fps is dramatically decrease....

Anyone else having these problems?

Can you post your hardware specs? I'd like to look into this.

This was the worst part about the overview tweak, I am furious that CCP didn't make this feature optional... I think the majority thinks it's annoying... before we had to push CTRL to pause the overview... now it does it whenever we move mouse over... it's annoying as hell!

i5 2500kk @ 4.8ghz
16GB G-Skill DDR3 1600
GTX 560ti
700watt OCZ psu


I have another machine with much less specs and it is impossible to play with 2 browsers open with 2 characters logged in and it also completely freezes the machine when I idle at a pos for an hour and then try and open a ship or corp hanger
