and this is if i run launcher direct, in both instances, SISIlauncher is ran and repair done with no errors (previously repair runs and jams with errors and had to be overwritten with fresh EVE copy to re-try anything)

so after the above 2 sets of tries to load SISI thru SISI / launcher, the 2 "launcher" methods stops functioning.

so i ran repair to see if it will restore back to original to do further re-tries ...

repair gives this error

so sisilauncher --> repair --> updates launcher (ok)
launcher --> runs self update --> fails --> launcher cannot be re-run

tries to manual repair
repair --> runs --> does the above described "error length 4" n halts incomplete repair

delete launcher folder, re-run sisilauncher --> repair --> re-does the launcher folder --> launcher self updates --> fails at update again

ok ... need some input here ccp ... la la la la la

as of now i believe it is over 80 attempts to get SISI to work.

there is 1 working and functioning attempt ... but however ... i think CCP updated the launcher portion, and now this working copy also failed to work as it tries to update the launcher to something newer ...

new attempt, cache cleared

btw my old SISI folder is "EVE-EVE-2011-R4-CALIGULA" version

eve start using "/ server:singularity" ... instead of update notice ... some strange error ... press ESC .. update starts (strange) ... but that gives ... a new kind of update jam :

new error

and i cant post the whole thing here due to "ht ml posting error"

new attempt

working copy TQ to transform into SISI. w/o cache data

applying evepremiumpatch344637-2.exe

patching does not complete

so i think we have seen alot of that thread 4 errors before

after jamming up, launcher actually starts n tries to DL an update for 784 to 637 transformation

and as usual, the DL bar halts at 15% ... and issues the same error

Exception during UpdaterModule.Update

bla bla bla

bug report filed 129008 ...

so then of the 80-90 tries ... 1 of them managed to work ... i even assembled a few ships @ FDML for the 1st march SISI mass test ... BUT ... o well ...

ok now something interesting happens ....

after the failed evepremiumpatch344637-2.exe patch, n a triggered launcher self update ...

the next evepremiumpatch344637-2.exe into the same copy of SISI folder ... now no longer issues an error ...
but launcher is still jammed at 15% ...

re launching attempts to use launcher :

launcher + "/server:singularity" clause

launcher attempts to self update
errors @ 15% ....
so it is having problems downloading the rest of the 85% from CCP ?

WUT ???
