I know there are a million +1 guides, spoilers, and fits around for max efficiency vanguard incusions. I however am wondering if there are "trustable" resources for the 5 ship scout sites?

Baring that what would you all think of viable (shiney or otherwise) scout fleets. Also I wonder if there is much, if any, competition for those sites?

don't bother. no, seriously, don't bother.

Scout sites pay out such an infintesimal amount, that the only way that you will make money over ammo costs is if you are using lasers only, or drones only. Also, for some reason scout sites seem to count everyone on grid, not everyone in fleet, meaning that if you had a 5 man fleet and someone else was in the scout site, no one would get paid. Not sure if they fixed that or not yet though.

Yeah, I tried Scouts one time out of boredom. I soloed them in a Slicer without much issue at all. They consist of something like 3-4 waves of 2 frigs each with a pair of frigs and a cruiser at the end (atleast, the ones I did were). And I ended up making more ISK salvaging than from running them (because I got an Armor Plates from one of the frigs, lol). I'm pretty sure any BC or maybe even a well fit cruiser could solo the sites easily.

They really do need to be buffed a bit if they're going to be worth running, the 50k ISK from them is laughable, especially since the next size up sites give out 10M (in highsec).

scout sites pay what, 50,000 isk? level 1 missions pay more...
