Patch failed - Repair tool not starting

Yesterday I tried to update my game to the latest version (1.2.2). During the last step of the patch-setup (3/3, extracting files) it tells me that applying the patch has failed and it offers to start up the repair tool. I click 'OK' but nothing happens. I tried again, same thing. Then I went to the folder where the game is installed and tried running the repair.exe myself, still nothing. Tried running it as an administrator, still nothing happened. I've googled for solutions but found nothing helpful.

I've submitted a petition but it still hasn't been answered. Thought maybe someone else could help me with this.

EDIT: I've found a solution. I downloaded the patch manually and installed it. Seems to be working at the moment. I downloaded the patch from http://community.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp
