Hey all so i finished all the career agents and was wondering what to do now..
i know the usual answer will be "its eve! you can do anything! =)"
lol i know that, but im looking for stuff to do...
throughout the career agents, the most fun I had was industrial and especially business, except the waiting and jumping part.
military was ok but i really liked salvaging stuff.
I also liked scanning since i got the hang of it( but i keep finding dumb wormholes where i die). hacking/salvaging was the best =)
but im not sure how to gather ladar cloud things..

sorry for the really bad format lol but im playing right now so i just wanna type it quickly :P

EDIT: I forgot to ask lol. How much does it cost to get a new portrait? just wondering..

New portraits are free, go to re-customisation located in station.

I allways suggest you also do Sisters of EVE Epic Arc. That has about 50 level 1 missions and helps you learn more about fighting, different missions and how to use agents. Also gives nice ISK rewards.

It starts from Sister Alitura in Arnon and includes a lot of travelling, so don't bring everything you have there. Just one combat ship.

Of course if you already got bored of missions, you can just skip that and find something else to do. Lol

If you enjoyed scanning and want to inject a bit of higher risk fun into your game, I'd suggest lowsec exploration. It can be a lot of fun and very profitable

Make sure you know about bad people like me who want to hunt you down first...

A lot of enthusiasm! :)
But don't spread yourself too much in the beginning, you mention industry, mining and exploration, these activities can be very skill intensive and with little overlapping, so I would suggest focusing on core skills to build a solid base, then prioritize the activities, decide what kind of ship you want to fly and you will end up with a rough training plan that you can then adjust to suit your needs.
Given enough time and motivation, you might build enough skills to become efficient in several activities, but if you spread your skillset too much in the beginning, you'll end up bored as you won't master any domain before a long time and all you'll have to do meanwhile is little missions or mining.
As Malaire mentionned, the Sisters of Eve epic arc might provide you a bunch of missions making you travel through a variety of systems, grant you some ISK and a bit of fun while you make up your mind.
Focus your training on your race's primary weapons, stick to hulls up to cruiser class while you buff the major skills.

Whatever you choose to do first, make sure it's not the mining portion of industry.

Why? It requires a huge skill point investment in exchange for a boring activity that pays badly. Max-efficiency mining requires a slow, massive, expensive ship that's easily destroyed (probably the defensively weakest ship compared to its cost in the entire game) — and not only is it weak, it sits almost motionless in easy-to-find locations for long periods of time.

I'm not saying "don't mine," I'm saying do something else first. Retention of new players is very important to me.

To answer your question about Ladar sites, you use gas harvesters. You can only use 5 at once and they do take turret slots.

They way you talk though sounds perfect for wormholes. Obviously not solo at your age, join a WH corp and they can make you into a dedicated scanner, miner, manufacturer, and salvager. The two easier ones to get into for you would probably be scanning and salvaging as those happen more often and tend to be things that most others don't want to do cause they'd rather shoot things =D

Provided the corp pays you your cut a decent amount you should be able to afford a noctis, cov ops, and hulk in no time and for manufacture you can help build fuel blocks and ammo for everyone. Try looking into PI too as it's kinda fun to set up and doesn't take a whole lot of skills to do decently.

Maybe you could even join my corp =D

And despite what people say mining can be fun, especially when you do something like this =D

Core Competency Standard is good general purpose certificate. Just read what each skill does before you decide whether you actually need it. (e.g. I have 30 million SP and until now I have not needed Electronics Upgrades V.)

You are Gallente. If you are flying Gallente ships I would suggest you training drones. Those little buggers are long range weapon for your race and it's good to have them trained well. Here is a list of "must have" skills for drones:

* Drones (V)
* Drone Interfacing (at least IV, but V is a must eventually)
* Scout Drone Operation (V for T2 drones)
* Combat Drone Operation (the higher the better)

Very useful skills for drones:

* Drone Durability (the higher the better)
* Drone Navigation (as above)
* Drone Sharpshooting (as above)

General certificates for drones:

* Drone Control
* Combat Drone Control

This is a base for combat drones. There are also EWar, logistic and mining drones you may be interested in.
Note: many high level combat PvE activities are much (MUCH) harder for Gallente pilots without drones.

Gallente drone boats are epic win. Ishkur, Vexor, Ishtar, dominix. All fantastic ships.

Join a player corp. Hearing what other people are doing and why they do it can help you make your mind up on what you want to do.

If you want to dapple in a few different things right now thats fine. But when you find your first love in eve aggressively focus your skills toward it.

Core competency skills like you mentioned, are never wasted no matter what you plan on doing in game.

Bigger question is how much time do you have to invest in game? That can be a bigger determinant on what you want to do in game.

I have a main pvp character and a main pve character this one. I do just about everything in game save trading at the moment and researching blue prints because I dont have access to research labs(I will in the near future).

I find interest in every aspect of eve. Some times you have to just wander around until something clicks.
