Well he could of just said that instead of saying this could be a scam witch therefor will put people off this char so therefor the persion selling him would miss out

This could have been a scam where he is selling that 2011 toon which made OP, but claiming it to be 2008 char.

So warning about possible scam was OK. Reporting OP for breaking rules would be even better.
