Rancyin is a verified thief and scammer.

We interviewed him, sounded friendly enough, as soon as he was in the corp he borrowed isk from several corp members than abrubtly quit the corp.

Kind of a lame scam if you ask me, especially since you can only do that so often before your reputation catches up to you.

I'm just trying to speed that process up.

If Rancyin applies to your corp, DO NOT ACCEPT. He only wants your stuff.

Ha ha, yeah I was wondering how long it would take before someone trolled my post. But no, I personally didn't give him any isk.

Anyone that knows AUTOZ knows we only fly rifters :) So I doubt anyone gave him more than a few million isk each. Hence, why it was a lame scam. He prolly didn't steal more than like 50 mil total, chump change really and not enough to risk your permanent reputation if you ask me, but to each his own I guess.

I'd say lesson learned, but we know its bad news when they want isk right from the start. This all happened quick, I honestly don't know all the details myself, I just logged in yesterday, saw that our day old member was no longer in the corp, got the scoop from a corpmate, and am posting it here just so he doesnt get any farther with anyone else.

My corpmates know better than to give anything sizeable to a stranger, so like I said it was only a small amount if isk. I'm just surprised he even bothered with a broke Faction Warfare corp like us with no real assets. :)

I don't really call giving someone a few million isk idiocy, It's not like he was ever granted access to any of our corp resources, any losses incurred were due to the generosity of our corp members. If they want to give away their isk, that's fine, as long as they knew the risks, which they did.

Just because its a serious bizness hostile video game full of backstabbing cretins doesn't mean you can't be charitable every now and again, its not a crime. I'm just telling others on the forums so that they aren't TOO charitable is all. At least now, a simple forum search will expose him. My work is done.

And no, I won't be punishing/booting corp members for "being idiots". Nice troll attempt though!
