if u could pick any frig or dessie for the SOE arc, which would it be and why?

Worm, cause of tank and flexible Damage
Vengeance, imba tank and flexible Damage
Navy Slicer, speed and Damage
Coercer, don’t need ammo-support
Wolf/Jaguar, just cause

Navy Comet with shield buffer (because I could ;), went like hot knife through butter.

Though Enyo is probably better, gates permitting.

Having said that - the sabre is a thing of beauty to fly in those missions.

TBH, I'd probably take a Thrasher. Mainly because I like the things, but also because SEVEN TURRETS and stuff.

I've done it in an enyo, wolf, hurricane and iskhur

Enyo was 110x more fun and a hell of a lot faster.

Worm if you have the skills and isk, its nice to have the extra dps from the drones otherwise Vengeance, I enjoy the slicer and retribution, but it is nice to have selectable damage.

Maybe it's just me but during blitzing L1 missions and SOE Arc, when I used to instapop most frigs with a single gun and actual bottleneck was the speed of targets locking, I found that drones are just too slow.

I've tried all four navy frigates, Worm, Daredevil, Dramiel, Jaguar, and Thrasher. The Thrasher had fastest completion times even with the RoF penalty. Since that was removed.... Well, it did even better. Saved me from fitting a PvE Sabre, that's for sure.

Slicer performed really, really well though. I'm due to try a past-buff AF any day now.

You get the non penalized faction standing bump. So yeah. Run it every 3 months when you can.

fast align, fast warp, kill everything instantly at up to 20km, and wicked tank in case anything isn't dead before it shoots you.

I used a Coercer with beams, ab and heatsinks/adaptive plate/small repper.

I don't think I had to use the repper much, if at all.

I have heard of this SOE Arc thing.. OT, but does it require one to enter 1.0 security systems?
