This is a link to the trade hub ranking's, not sure if it's up to date http://www.eve-tools.org/tradeHubs.html

By casual I mean updating orders 1-2 times a day.

There is a forum area for such questions, and it is called Market Discussions.

I like Dodixie. I can usually sell stuff for reasonable prices without much hassle. But I am not really a trader. You might get better answers from people who do trading as main profession in the "Market Discussions" forum.

My favorite trading hub is the Farmers Market down the street. Great vegetables...

Actually I wasn't trolling and like the other guy and me said, there is a better place for this on the forum. It should have less trolling and more profound answers.

The unfortunate thing is, the more people that get involved in trading, the harder it gets for everyone, and the slimmer the margins.

So it's going to be uncommon that you'll get accurate advice that's not fairly vague.

Especially for questions like this. Because if other people took the same advice, what was an easy hub to work in, becomes a 0.01 isking nightmare. It might not be the same person 0.01 isking you, but the effect is the same.

Choose your product range well and wide enough and you can do that in any hub except Jita, twice a day is a pretty good pace.

If you don't mind doing weekly pick up runs, you can maximise profits from casual trading by buying regionally, and selling at both the nearest major hub and selected lesser marketplaces.

Ask what time it is, they tell you how to build a clock.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Tell a man what time it is, and he knows how long it is till lunch.
Teach him how to build a clock, and he now has a new geeky hobby.

And then, if you do build one, you shall never need ask for time again.

I'd avoid Jita and Amarr, updates occur all the time to market positions. Moreso in Jita. Especially if you will be limiting yourself to buy low/sell high incremental competition.

No personal experience of Rens/Hek or Dodixie, but would imagine they might be a little more casual. than the above.

Of course depending on if you are supplying goods from industrial sources, you might find a pocket of interest somewhere that wont have the volume of trade the same as the above pseudo oligopolies. But you might get better returns at higher profits but lower volumes with less competition requiring little hands on attention as a result.

I'll let you do your own research in finding these opportunities however.

Such places as OP has requested do exist. But I'm not telling. And most serious marketeers won't tell either.

But because I'm generous, I'll tell you how to find one. Look for a cluster of level 4 combat agents. Now look on the map for a high concentration of players and/or ship kills. This would be a good place to start.

I've only tried Jita, Rens and Hek. Of those I like Hek, because it seems the differences between buy prices and sell prices are a little bigger. On the other hand, the transaction times seen slower in Hek. In other words, it takes longer to fill your buy or sell orders. Like everything else I guess, it's a trade off.

Teach me how to gank bots in stations, I will clear out Jita of the non-humans who promise to double your isk!
