What are your views on best solo pvp ships to use for 1 vrs 1's
I can fly so many ships but when it comes down to chooseing 1. i am confused.
to make it alot easier ill post what ships i can fly.

T1 Frigs = ALL T2 Everything.
T1 Cruisers = ALL T2 Sac,Zealot,Curse,Pilgrim,Falcon,Rook,Cerb,Eagle,
BattleCruisers ALL T2 Nighthawk,Damnation,Vulture,Absolution
Battleships ALL T2 Widow,

just cant make up my mind one what i want to use. so asking for help from those with experiance in solo work of pvp and also buffer or active tank/

i tried useing a pilgrim yesterday to a highsec bounty player in a proteus yesterday but she only wanted to fight my pve tengu :(

Domi, curse, pilgrim, navy scorp /thread.

Brutix and Ferox will get you more fights because of stigmas attached to them, and ppl that think 'I got this' before properly waiting for assistence. Both are brutally underrated in the right hands.

Start with a shield buffer battlecruiser. A great mix of speed, damage, tank and at low cost.

For solo work, I'd stay clear of active setups as without things like ganglink alts and/or pirate implants they tend to underperform compared to similar buffer fits.

I enjoy soloing in a Harpy or Taranis. Probably the Talos other than that.

Sorry to revive this thread, but Liang, do you find the Ranis a bit superior to the Harpy, in that others do have the capability to "possibly" take it over the Harpy - thus you get more fights in it?

I have tried various AF's with mixed results. Seems like the Ranis is always a good option though, as it easier to get fights in - and went flown well (I am not there yet) is very capable of taking a wide range of ships.

There is no single answer. We all fly ships we feel happy in and know what the max it can take is. I prefer a Legion. Cloacked, sneaky less dps legion or just the full high dps tank slave kind. Besides that I just love the fire rate of the Omen Navy Issue. And the mini BS....absolution on my 3th place.
