Watchlist of negative effects

If in a Mission or a Fleet fight, you probably loose track of whats going on when there are many people, ships or enemy entities involved.
Yellow- and redboxing only tells you as much.

I'd like to see a small, configurable Window (watchlist - like if you get what i mean) which is just listing players/enities/ships that have any hazardous effect running on me. Like that rifter is webbing me, those NPCs are tracking disrupting me, that tengo got a scram and another web on me. Automatically updated on base of whatever's hitting me, or stopping. Maybe added range between him and you in km, just to give another impression of how important those effects are on you right now.

So, if you run into problems, all you have to do to assess your current situation is have a look on your list of negative effects. Suitable choosing of name for that window is still pending. No more scrolling back and forth the overview, hunting those small icons on the end of the rows somewhere.

Make it sortable for the various types and classes of effects (targeting, jamming, warp disruption) to be always on top automatically, based on preferential settings. Maybe even make it being able to target back or navigate with the list items there, just like the list items in overview already are.
Dont expand the list into oblivion when hundrets of enemies lock you, maybe deliver an option for a condensed presentation of such information as well (list items just saying 19 points, 4 scrams, 3 bubbles, 11 webs, 2 jams, 4 neuts 1 web and 2 tracking disruptors on you, chances are you dont need to know the name of that one web, once you are in for that deep).

Not really.

It gives you an icon next to the person who is doing it to you, and while that is certainly more helpful than how it used to be (ie nothing) its still not as useful as it might be. Particularly if you are in a very big fight (where finding out who is ewaring you is next to impossible) or you use a non-show-everyone overview (for example if you fly a logistics ship, or if you are have overviews for specific enemies like falcons, logis or capitals).

I think this would be a good feature, and we've needed it for a long time. A readout that tells you on a moment by moment basis if you are pointed/scrammed, webbed, TDed, SDed, ECMed or TPed.

If nothing else DEFINITELY we need an 'Am I scrammed ?' window.

Have you ever tried to run a fighting withdrawal and asked on comms 'Is anyone still pointed ?' and didn't get an answer for 90 seconds, because it takes that long for everyone to scroll up and down their overview and check. That sucks.

I approve of the OPs idea, and support its implementation. We shouldn't have to just spam warp until we get out or die, we should be able to fly our ships properly and then hit warp when the indicator says we are clear.

Yes, but in large battles, it is a PITA to find those little icons, especially when you have other stuff to worry about, and epecially especially when it isn't right all the time.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.
