My google-fu is usually not-too-bad but I can't find answer to this ...

What happens to POCOs, and their charges schedules, if the owner corporation ceases to exist??

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Presumably, nothing. IIRC corps don't cease to exist in Eve, they just become closed (since there's no one in the corp to accept new applicants).

This.

Alternatively a horde of pink fedos escaped from an Amarrian eugenics breeding programme take up residence in the POCO and drink your water, feast on your genetically modified cattle, defecate in your bacterial cultures and generally make a nuisance of themselves.

NB: I want a fedo in my CQ...

So, fedos notwithstanding, you reckon the defunct [closed] corp retains ownership and the previously set fees are still charged of the user, and those fees go into a Swiss bank account somewhere not too far from Jita?
