Training Queue

If you open the training queue and attempt to resize the list using the inner vertical border, the left outer border of the queue window stretches to the left all the way outside the computer screen edge.

This bug is reproducible every single time I've tried.

Can provide screenshots, if needs be.

EVE is what happens when the rule of law does not apply and Darwinism is allowed to run freely.

Yep, I get exactly this too. Everytime I open the Training Queue page.

I had been thinking about reporting it, but no one else has metioned it so I thought it was just me. I'M NOT ALONE ANYMORE.

I'll post some screenshots too once I work out how Roll

I've used that adjuster many times and it doesn't do that for me, so it's not a global issue. I don't think it's a graphics card issue. What operating system are you guys using?

I run EVE under windows 7.

Already cleared cache and settings more than once, bug is still present.

Repair tool did not help either.

EVE is what happens when the rule of law does not apply and Darwinism is allowed to run freely.

I can only guess it's some compatibility issue with some minor hardware. It shouldn't be the operating system because too many others use that and don't have this issue.

Yep, confirming this is the exact same deal I am experiencing.

Also running Win 7.

After this has happened, the window is frozen and all functionalty stops.

Once you close and re-open the window, everything works fine and you can re-size the middle bar as normal.

Also, if you do not touch the middle bar and just re-size the entire window, then the middle bar adjusts itslef automatically and the problem does not happen.

Not sure if this information will be relevant.

I cleared cache and settings once more and bug was not happening.

Then I opened character sheet window, opened training queue and stacked it with the former then closed the stack.

If I try to resize queue while the stack is open, bug does not occur.

If I open training queue by itself, the bug happens.

If training queue is removed from the stack, the bug stops happening once more.


Could someone else confirm this on their client ?

I can reproduce it, it's happening if you have the skill queue stacked with other windows (in the screenshot it is so but the other windows are closed).

I shall do my best to fix this o7

We have every bit of faith in you. Or at least I do, for I too am suffering this problem.

Also, can you do something about the skill name not using up all the available space when you make that column smaller? I would provide screenshots, but it's 5am and I'm about to sleep. (I'll provide them when I wake if you need an example)

might want to look at bug report 126793 first... according to someone it's "Fixed in: 2012 ALBERTO"... didn't think to check it being stacked, but it was being triggered when accessed from the new skill progression bar under the char pic on the neocom. Might just need a tweak for the new repro?

Curiosity killed the Kata... ... but being immortal he wasn't too worried about keeping a count.

OP and others that could reproduce this, what happens if you pull the window out of the container it is in (drag the tab out of the window? Is the issue still reproducible?

Yes, I sent this issue around and one of the defects people responded with has been fixed internally and is pending deployment in a point release soon.
