Issues, Workarounds & Localization

I'm having an issue with evemail on Eve Gate. I went in and painstakingly trashed about 70 pages of old alliance and obsolete mailing list email messages, then went to the trash and clicked on Empty Trash. The trash was not totally emptied by this function and what messages WERE removed from the folder ended up back in the original alliance or all mail folders they'd been trashed from.

Now when I go in and empty trash, the remaining messages disappear, but a new message that I'd deleted months ago shows up.

I can't seem to delete old mail at all, the server just keeps moving the messages around between their original folder and the trash. It seems as if the Empty Trash button is acting as the Restore button. Unfortunately the Restore button doesn't act as the Empty Trash button.

I'd really like to clean out some of my older messages. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix in sight?
