Why are my Caldari Fw standings bad ?

I was in Cadari FW for awhile and then I quit and joined an Allince and during that time I podded a couple Caldari FW dudes, but I was not in FW at the time of the poddings. Why should I get a Caldari FW neg standing hit for that ?
