Macintosh mouse nightmares

Something strange is going on on one of the computers I occasionally run EVE on - the mouse doesn't appear to work correctly, reporting an incorrect mouse position to EVE. Getting the correct character to log in from the login screen can be a challenge, and once in, I end up having to use the keyboard shortcuts to log off, because EVE thinks the mouse is clicking somewhere else than where it is on screen.

I've tried clearing my cache, switching between full and windowed modes, reinstalling the client, and a variety of other things to no success. Any ideas on what this problem is and how to fix it?

I have the same issues, tested several mouses, usb and bluetooth as well as trackpad. All the same, so no HW issue. As soon as I leave eve, mouse works normal as well. Pretty sure it's eve related.

Are you using Logitech mouse drivers or any other third party drivers? If so rid yourself of them, restart, and see if that helps. You may want to use an app like app zapper if there is no uninstall app, this will clear out file you would normally miss by just dragging an app to the trash, but there should an uninstall app.

I have had these issues before, and was due to the third party drivers. Currently I use an apple trackpad and a Wacom tablet, and I do use the Wacom drivers with no issues. If you use a Wacom tablet make sure your drivers are up to date, the previous release I was using had issue in a few areas which have been fixed now.

I am having the same problem. It seems to be associated with mousing in and out of the Eve window while Safari or other programs are running.

In my case, it eliminates the left click, and only allows certain functions on the right click. This does not happen when I mouse around before starting Eve. It always happens, sooner or later, while Eve is running.

The problem with the mouse persist after eve is shut down, and requires a hard reboot of my computer to clear the problem.

Several versions of Eve ago there was a persistent memory leak associated with the mouse. I have no way of knowing whether this is related, but it might be a point to start looking.

Computer: 2009 Macbook Pro; OS X 10.6.2; 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo; 4 GB memory, Nvidia GeForce 9400M; Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT, magic mouse.

Correction: This also happens when opening the ig browser, as well as when mousing between eve and TeamSpeak3.

I'm having a similar issue, not sure if it's the same problem. Using a Logitech wireless mouse, the cursor sort of chops and skips around the screen as you're moving it around. No issues in any other app and the problem is intermittent. I haven't noticed any left or right click functionality issues though.
